I just searched the RTY site for the team Mind over Miles, and there are 3 or 4 teams already named that. We would need to edit the name to make it distinct (for example, one team added 2021 after the name) or else choose another name. What about Mind Over Miles MFP?

I like Mind Over Miles too.

I admit I cheated and looked up running team names online. These are some of the ones I liked: Baby Got Track The Jogfathers Pumped Up Kicks Mind Over Miles Been There, Run That

Hi! I was in the Biggest Loser challenge for a while last year, then dropped out. I have been struggling really hard since Thanksgiving and wanted to come back for motivation and accountability. I have gained back at least 15 pounds that I had lost, and I want to stop it there and get back on track.

My name on Run the Year is MaryJo. I can't find where to search names on the RTY site. I see where to search teams, but not individual runners.

I would like to be on a team. I am aiming for 500 miles in 2021.

I will set a goal of 500 miles for 2021.

Okay, gang. Every day I wake up and say today I am getting back on track. Every day I end up not doing what I need to do. I am committing today to working out at least 30 minutes.

I just joined Run the Year for 2021. It looks like teams will not be able to be created until after Christmas. Will someone be creating a MyFitnessPal team?

I recently discovered his workouts and love them! He is adorable, the music is great, and the guest stars (his cats) are fun.

Hi! I have been hunting for a challenge to motivate me to get back on track. I have lost about 50 pounds this year, but I went off the rails after Thanksgiving and just can't seem to get back at it. I skipped weigh-in today but will weigh in next Saturday for an official starting weight.

I actually came here looking to see if there will be a team from MFP doing the 2021 Run the Year as a team. I will participate if anyone else is game.

Your comment about trying something new, then losing motivation when the novelty wears off, sounds a lot like me. I struggle with needing support in this, but not having the greatest social skills to build an active base of friends.

I am an existing member of the group from May but haven't weighed in for this week. I had a gain and need to update my starting weight for June: 209.4 Ugh. I am going to really try to check in more often, because I sure need it! Is there anything else I need to do to stay in the group for June?

Saturday weigh in May 16: Risingaboveit Last week 206.4 This week: 206.4 I have not been in here in a while. This was the last weight I could find for me, and I weighed in at the same weight this past Saturday. I have been stuck in one place for a few weeks now. I have been sliding back into bad habits and need to get back…

You are brave going outside at all with a big old gator lounging on your porch! I work two jobs, so I already know I can't take on any more responsibilities as far as co-captain goes. How long will you be in the cabin?

Me too! I feel very aggravated and restless and tense this week. I am in Florida, and we are starting phase one of opening back up next week, so maybe that will help.

Thank you! I knew if I didn't mow the grass yesterday, I wasn't going to work out at all, so I made myself do it. I plan to work out during my lunch break today, since I work both jobs today and won't have time anywhere else today.

Hi @goodreadsgal , I am struggling this week too. I am so over this lockdown, over the stress, people acting crazy around here, trying to work from home when I'm not really set up for this, etc. I have been doing pretty well and actually losing weight during these weeks working from home, but this week I am stress eating…

This has been a stressful and hectic week! I am still working two jobs, and I let a lot of stress about that and other things pile up on me this week. Overeating, too much soda...ugh. But I only skipped a workout one day, and I just did a pretty intense step aerobics workout. I am really hoping I didn't gain this week. I…
