This past Saturday marked one year since my mother passed away. I didn't weigh in, work out, log any food. I needed some time to myself. But I am back today, and my goal is to work out after work. @Itadakimasu7 Your cat is beautiful! I have one indoor cat, and then three outdoor cats who just wandered into my backyard and never left. I keep trying to convince them to become indoor cats, and they will come inside for a little while but then want back out. I love animals, but cats in particular :smiley:

Yes, please adjust my starting weight. I was rounding up when I registered for the group, but I went back and looked at my actual weigh-in when I posted my weigh-in, so the 207.6 is correct. Thank you!

Right now my workouts are more like "nah", but I know I need to do a lot better than this. In a few minutes I am going to put my work laptop away, go change clothes, and do a workout before Hurricane Idalia starts harassing us here in Florida.

No, my nose slammed shut yesterday afternoon, and I have so much pressure behind my eyes that they are burning. I am not feeling much better today. Hoping to hop onto my bike for at least a short ride tonight.

I was sick all weekend and stayed home from work yesterday. I still don't feel great but came back to work today. I am planning a very low-impact workout this evening, either walking with Leslie Sansone or a light bike ride...something where I can blow my nose frequently!

Becoming_a_Butterfly Weigh in Saturday PW: 200.8 CW: 202.2 I am so disappointed. I worked out a few days this week and really expected a loss. My husband said he will go to the gym with me next week, so I am really aiming for a loss next Saturday.

Last night I did 30 minutes of Leslie Sansone walking. I know that doesn't sound like much, but I have not pushed myself to work out for so long. I accidentally picked a workout with boosted walking, which is basically jogging, and I felt uncomfortable but not enough to stop. It will get easier!

It's a miracle! I actually worked out last night! :wink: I didn't want to, but I made myself put my butt into my bike seat, and I did a 20-minute Peloton ride. Can't say I enjoyed it, but hey, I did it, and that's a start! Tonight I think I will do some Leslie Sansone walking. Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Friday! I can almost guarantee that my weigh-in tomorrow will be a gain. :( It's been a stressful week, and I have been emotion eating like crazy. I am going grocery shopping this evening and will fill the fridge with healthier choices so I have a good week next week!

Good morning! My goal today is at least 20 minutes of exercise. I don't care if it's weights, or walking, or skipping, just so long as I get moving! It's been a few months since I have been consistent with exercise, so it's going to be uncomfortable to get started again, but I have to start somewhere.

Today I have back-to-back meetings at work all day (yippee), then my husband and I are heading about an hour and a half away to visit my stepdaughter at her college and take her to dinner. I doubt I will be able to work out this evening, since we will get home late, but I intend to make a workout a priority on Wednesday!

Your post caught my eye because I lost my mom in 2022, and I am doing the same thing, eating a lot and gaining weight. I just can't seem to get it back under control. I will send you a friend request. Maybe we can help each other get through this and get healthier.
