Your NET calories is already the deficit, when you set the 1200 you are counting the -20% from your TDEE, that's why you have to eat back your calories :) You should reach the 1200 NET by the end of the day, if you burn at the gym 500 you should eat the 500 back from that + the 'normal' 1200 during the day, so 1700 - 500…

Yep, in that case you are counting your NET calories, some people set to their TDEE and not eat the calories back, others use like you do, eating your calories back maintaining your NET. If you use the NET "system" it's important never stay too low from your daily calories, since you are already counting the 20-25% less :)…

What about calories? Should I stay in my deficit because of the weight loss or should I set to my TDEE , that's my main question, I don't know if I can actually build muscles in a deficit. I wanna know more about that.

I use protein powder basically because my daily protein intake is not enough just fulling with food. if that's the case, perfect... but just be careful with what your purposes are or you can end up wasting your money ;)

Of course, try to stick into your daily calories, but I mean: if I over eat 200 calories, but 200 calories of fruits, nuts or something healthy I dont allowed myself to freak out, anymore lol, you know what I mean? :)

Start to focus on nutrients... since I increased my calories intake , started weight lifting and focus on nutrients not so much on calories, I barely see a different in my scale but I def see in my body ;)
