I agree with you! After reading Wheat Belly, I look at all bread the same as I would other processed food. I'd recommend that book to anyone!

I was just diagnosed a few months ago. I'm on medication that seems to help a bit, but I know that eating high fiber products, bread and dairy are huge triggers. It seems I am always bloated!

I would choose the machines over MFP, since the machines know better how hard you are working (i.e, resistance on an elliptical). Make sure everytime you use the machines you enter in your weight and age too for a better estimation.

Just try to remember that a healthy diet doesn't have to be 100% perfect. It's okay to eat some things that aren't considered so great. Personally I don't consider pizza a junk food. Just remember one meal or one cheat snack a day isn't going to make or break your day, so alter your next meal a little bit. It's all about…

Well I am pretty partial to peanut butter, but for health reasons I'd go almond... sadly, I haven't found yet an almond butter that I like. Can anybody recommend a brand? Maybe I will switch. :)

I'm a nutrition minor (I was going to be a RD but switched) and I was very perplexed when my professors were overweight/acted like they had no care in the world for being healthy. It is kind of strange to see people in the health field who aren't healthy.

I completely agree. I feel good when I'm hungry sometimes because I *haven't* binged or eaten poorly. And when I'm hungry a few hours after a meal I feel good because I know that I didn't eat too much and my metabolism is in high gear.

Probably yeah, but the only issue with that is I eat lunch 1-2pm most days and I can't wait past 6 to eat dinner! Then I go to bed at around 10 without snacking (most nights).

Hmm... well you're BMR should have been calculated and taken into consideration when you put in your stats to MFP. It's telling you to eat less than that so that you lose weight. You can adjust how much weight you want to lose per week and your daily allowance will go up. I think 1230 is absolutely fine.... I'm on a 1200…

I think having sex when you feel like it is good advice... I don't know about anybody else but I am SUPER in the mood around the time I am supposed to be ovulating. Probably your body's way of trying to get you pregnant. The phone apps, like Period Tracker are great too. I use it to track my cycle.
