  • Either 2 or 4! And get yourself some nicer shoes.
  • Dear 16 year old me, please don't start dying our hair, it'll be trashed in 3 years. :)
  • blondes & brunettes :) long-haired boys <3
  • I have 3 friends who were raised vegetarian, and they're fine! They've just never had meat. :) It's not that uncommon around here, lots of families are vegetarian.
  • Um, salad? How easy/lazy and healthy could you get? -handfuls of spinach/lettuce -fat-free dressing -bell pepper (optional) -feta (optional) -tomato (optional) - chopped, cooked chicken breast (optional) - tomatoes (optional) the list goes on... :) just put it all in a tubblewear with a lid and shake it. Then put it in the…
  • oooohhhh....there's so many of them! It depends on my mood. But the most common are Velveeta mac&cheese or chicken tenders/McDonald's Hot 'n Spicy.
  • I'm 5'4 and 110lbs, goal <100lbs...
  • uhh...bump?
  • You want my honest suggestion? Suck it up and get over it. Two servings of meat is not a rounded meal. You need veggies. Period.
  • I really don't see the point in a discussion where you're antagonized for disagreeing. I'm not trying to be negative but I'm not going to support going to a deli as a valuable tip for people trying to lose weight on a Food and Nutrition forum on a fitness website. I'm sorry but it's just not good advice and it doesn't make…
  • many spicy Indian foods are vegetarian and you can control the extent of carb involvement (rice or flat bread optional) I also like thai and asian dishes which can be manipulated in the same way.
  • Sure it's her choice, but it's not good advice for those trying to eat healthily and that's what this forum is all about.
  • This is a disaster! Sodium, fat, processed and fried foods, simple carbs...I only go to the deli to get picnic foods for fishing and camping trips and so on. Very rare occasions when I know there will be hiking involved.
  • I get Silk unsweetened soy milk. 1g sugar and no lactose; making it a great substitution if you intend to cook savoury foods with it as well. If you can't stand the taste I just don't know what to tell you- I personally cannot stand the taste of animal milks. Remind yourself where it comes from and what it is used for-…
  • IMHO, public school lines are mills for obese young adults.
  • Wowie! Congrats on the speed you're already at. I'm no help what-so-ever in speed training but I think 13-min mile is so cool already :) good luck
  • Then explain this discrepancy.
  • People shouldn't have the right to demand others lose their jobs because they interpreted something they said as offensive. I interpret the cashier as meaning he thought OP didn't need the product because she already looked good, so he asked why an attractive thin woman would want a product marketed toward bulky men. Given…
  • I think the OP's reaction to this employee is what was unnecessarily harsh. It just doesn't make sense to assume this person was trying to be nasty against their own interests as a customer service rep. Sure, he might have made a mistake or not known, but every protein powder out there advertises as a supplement for…
  • There was nothing blatantly offensive in that entire conversation. He didn't call you out and insult your weight in any way. If anything, he was saying 'you don't need this, you're already thin.' It's a compliment. Get off your high horse, I am not a troll and neither is everyone who disagrees with your particularly…
  • You know what, this has really upset me. I work in a grocery store and we are trained to make conversation with customers in an attempt to be friendly. If you buy dog food, I'll ask what kind of dog you have. I'm also a full time student, there aren't a lot of jobs I'm qualified for and I find your 'perspective' that all…
  • You actually took time out of your day to try and get somebody fired for that? He probably honestly had no idea and was just trying to make conversation. Shame on you. No, seriously. Shame on you. You aren't privileged to treat people bagging your groceries like sub-humans without the right to free speech.
  • But if you hadn't thought that, you wouldn't have ever made yourself lose the weight. Am I missing something here? I don't know, seems like getting too comfortable with that idea makes it a lot easier to ease back into old/bad habits.
  • Personally, I weigh myself whenever I'm in the bathroom. It only takes 10 seconds to jump on the scale and check so...why not? Good motivation tool. Also, I think it makes people less apprehensive about weighing in or using the scale if you do it often and nonchalantly. Using a scale shouldn't be some kind of ritual.
  • Personally, I hate it when brands apply structured or curved inseams to their clothes in order to better fit 'curves.' They don't seem to take this proportion down in lower sizes, and clothes gap everywhere- particularly the chest, thighs, and butt. This goes the other way too- hold up a size 5 miniskirt to a size 12,and…
  • THRASH TIL DEATH :D
  • What he said. It's all very relative to what type of food it is.
  • If I had a dollar for every time I felt someone lusted for fatter woman than me because she had bigger T/A, I'd have enough to get implants. I really feel that other women perpetuate the waif thin ideal, not men; and then get defensive toward women who have the look they want. Statements like the one above, and the…
  • Is plain not an option? I find it delicious steamed by itself. Just put the frozen okra in a plastic container with a splash of water and microwave to steam quickly. Maybe some lemon juice would be good over it, too.
  • SRIRACHA you know, that one chili sauce with the rooster on it :) yummy
