  • Welcome! You have to look at each day as a new day. If you start off with a bad day you just have to keep logging in your diary and think for the next meal I will make better choices. You didnt gain the weight all of a sudden in one day and you are not going to lose it all together in one day. Good luck :)
  • Today is a great teaching lesson for yourself. It shows you what you are currently eating and why what you were eating was not effective previously. Each day is a new day. You can not beat yourself up and if you realize you had one meal that wasnt that great, you need to realize that you shouldnt just say "forget it, i…
  • You realized you shouldnt have eaten the doughnut, but you are doing great! The old me would have said, well I failed today, why not eat another donut. You realize that now you should eat smaller mini meals for the rest of the say and change your meals accordingly do to the calories you ate this morning. You cant beat…
  • You should always make sure you are eating 1200 calories a day. When I first joined MFP, it told me to maintain my current weight which was 185, I had to eat 2200 or so calories a day. That number is based upon having a sedetary lifestyle and how many calories it takes your body to just function for the day. I think that…
  • I'm not too familiar with a short sale, however, I do know that the banks are doing modifications on loans without any costs or penalities. You an contact your mortgage company and explain that you have a hardship to pay for this mortgage. If the mortgage payment is more than 31% of your income, by the new law that was put…
  • Congrats! That is amazing and you look amazing!
  • Congratulations!!!! Keep up the good work! You are a motivation for us all!
  • Half.com which is a company of Ebay has pretty good deals on textbooks, and if they dont have them on half.com they have the ability to search on Ebay also.
  • I am in the same boat, dropping the sizes is feeling great, but why pay the full price for clothes that will maybe last a month. I am looking into the local Goodwills/Salvation Army locations near me. Another idea is a program called Freecycle, depending on where you live and if they have it. www.freecycle.com - You find…
  • I agree with Charity, they have them by me, although I have never actually joined them. They seem to have a good amount of equipment, but no classes :( Also, I wasnt thrilled with their hours, as they close pretty early on the weekends. I have preferred 24 hr gyms more. So it all depends on what you are looking for.
  • Congrats!!! And Happy Birthday! That is a major accomplishment! You should be so proud of yourself! You ROCK!!!!
  • I am going to be starting the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred myself here in the next week or so as I have to go out of town for a week for business. I have read on MFP that everyone seems to like the 30 Day Shred, and someone yesterday posted a link that has the entire video. I know I have spent plenty of money on videos…
  • I like the FiberOne 90 cal bars. It tastes so good and is only 90 cals, 2g fat, 95mg sodium, 17 carbs, 5g fiber, 5g sugar and 1g protein. It is a great snack and helps to curb my appetite between lunch and dinner. Definately make sure that you are snacking some between meals as this will help increase your metabolism also.…
  • I get a Super Big Gulp from 7-11, it is a 32 oz fountain drink. I know you all must be thinking, how many empty calories a fountain drink has in it. However, they now have Unsweetened Ice Tea in the fountain machine, it's BW Coppers Unsweetened Tea. My HR manager and myself are addicted. I try to drink water out of a 20oz.…
