order a SMALLER bottom? I think if I did that, it would totally be up my butt. Sucks being "hippy". Lol

Ok..wow...here goes. I just bought this and I'm really not sure about it. I go back and forth. I just wish I didn't feel like my *kitten* was hanging out the back. Lol. I may order a different bottom. Or send the whole thing back. Who knows. :ohwell: PS our wall are not really green. It was my hubby's green screen for…

I eat something small like a banana (sometimes with PB) about 30 minutes before I run (if I get up early enough). I have found that I do better if I a small bowl of cereal, about 45 min before but that's only on days that don't have to get up at 6 to run!

I suffered with this as well and ended up having to take a whole month off and just walk. Everytime I tried to run (even a few feet) it would hurt really bad. I went and got fitted for shoes and discovered I have an abnormally high arch (which tries to collapse when I run). I got the new shoes and some orthotic insoles and…

Ugh. I am so struggling. I got to about week 6 of the program and was feeling really good and just started running without the app going. I made it 2 miles on my best run without stopping. Then the humidity started and my 50 degree temps went away. Now I can barely run at all. So discouraging. :indifferent: I have a 5K…

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm doing the Color Run in 2 weeks so I'm hopeful that with the excitement of it all, I will do better than I think. We shall see!

This makes me feel so much better. I started C25K and got to about week 6 or so and then just started running and not really using the app. I made it 2 miles on my best run ever. Now I struggle with a mile. Guess its nice to know that the first mile is hard for most everyone. Maybe I just need to push past that and keep…

Update: Resolved my issue with not being able to swipe to unlock the phone (while in the Armpocket). I just took off the screen protector that was directly on my iphone (but kept the Otterbox Defender case with screen cover on my phone) and it works great now! Just so ya know!

I also have a Polor FT4 and love mine. I got mine on Amazon for $65. Its very easy to set up and use.

I just got this and love it (though I had to order through the manufacturer website to get the small size armband). The only issue I'm having with it is that I have an otterbox defender case on my iphone and I can't get the thing to swipe to unlock with it in the armband. The defender case has the built in screen protector…

Great Job! Very proud of you! My race is in about 3 weeks and I'm now having some knee issues and this stupid humidity is killing me. Could hardly run at all yesterday. So out of breath and heart rate really high. I've determined my body is happiest when its about 50 degrees outside. Not looking good for race day. Lol.
-
Well that will be good! It was 51 when I ran this morning....its my perfect temp! Cool but not too bad! Makes breathing easier too!

Yikes. That stinks about the rain. I got caught in rain a month or so ago while out running and it wasnt too bad but I didn't run a whole 5K in rain! Is it hot where you are? That does me in more than anything. Maybe if its raining, it will keep you cooler?
-
Are you just out running a 5K tomorrow or an actual race? I'm really excited about my first one. Its the Color Run and looks like its going to be amazing. I think (hope) it will be easier on race day due to the excitement and such. Good luck tomorrow! Let me know how it goes!

Oh... and I also like On Top of the World and Its Time by Imagine Dragons!

There are 5 songs I have on my current playlist that I really like. Kinda peppy "feel good" songs. They are by the band Fun. Walking the Dog Some Nights Carry On One Foot We are Young

I had the 20 minute run coming up on Thursday so I set out this morning for today's run feeling really good about things. I felt like I had been running for awhile and looked down at my app which I apparently didn't take off of "pause". So I figured I would just keep going and see what happened. I actually ran for 25…

I guess my app on my phone is different than what you guys are doing. My 20 minute run isn't until the end of week 6 (which I'm thankful for!). I'm still scared to do it. I'm currently on W5D2 (which I was supposed to do this morning but woke up with a massive headace). We'll see how it goes! Congrats to all of you that…

Ha ha. Just realized I mentioned this in my above post already....can you tell I'm excited? Lol.

Ooh! I'm doing the color run on June 23 and I'm soooo excited! I don't know if I'll be able to run the whole thing yet but I'm working on it! It'll be fun either way!

I am on W5D1 which I tried to do Sunday and failed at the last 5 min jog portion. Today, I did it and I finished going uphill! It is really different inside vs outside. I had only ever run a mile in my life before starting C25K (and it was on a treadmill) so when I started C25K I started outside to get used to the hills,…

I really want to do this in June (here in Tulsa!). Looks like a lot of fun!

The ones you are talking about that you don't have are not TurboFire dvd's. Those are the Chalene Extreme dvd's I believe. Totally separate program.

Joshua Jackson for sure!

Fearless...I LOVE that pic that is your profile pic. Makes me laugh every time I see it.
