a cheat day can definitely slow your progress. i've been there and what i thought was a 2400 calorie cheat day was really like 3500 when i ACTUALLY tracked it. Agreed - those are not universal preferences at all. Sugar is more gross than white rice and fried foods to me! But i know that's my taste. I'm more a savory person than a sweets person. Doesn't make me better than anyone else though!

i hear you. it's not like that to me, i'm simply saying "i have a calorie budget, and i went way over yesterday, so i have limited calories today". i do 9900 calories per week and if i do 2500 in one day, then i have to have lower calorie days if i still want to lose weight that week. no emotions about it.

i always use protein powder in mine, Designer Whey blends really well. for fruit (i don't really like bananas), I do frozen mango cubes, mixed berries, and then add spinach and sometimes ripe avocado for yummy creaminess.

excellent! I definitely want to solve my problems without any meds! I know the extra weight I carry is 100% contributing to any pain (specifically feet/ankles) and bad numbers that I have.

doing a rather low calorie day the day after a binge is an EXCELLENT tool to keep the binge from making an impact on your weight/diet/morale!
