  • I do agree with you on that. I prefer Herbalife shakes but I lost over 60lbs using Slimfast

  • I lost 60lbs using Slimfast. I now use Herbalife which in my opinion taste better but is more expensive. Everyone I ever knew that was on the Atkins diet gained all their weight back again. Atkins is the worst way to lose weight and can't be healthy. If I was on the Atkins diet I would have probably gained 100lbs. I watch…

  • I use a Garmin Forerunner 205 which I can then upload my data to my computer. I find the GPS more accurate than the pedometer no matter how well I adjusted the pedometer. Just my 2 cents. :)
  • Nope. Lot's of guys here. I started at 260 lbs. 4 1/2 months ago and I'm sitting at 205 lbs. right now. My goal is 200 lbs. I'm almost there.
  • Hi I found being able to track what I'm eating and how many calories to be a big help in keeping me on the right track. Having the app on my iPhone is also nice so I can record what I eat when I'm out. Good luck. I found everybody here to be very friendly and supportive.
  • There are a lot of good suggestions here. I'm not an expert with this in fact I really don't know what I'm doing but a few things I've been doing and has worked for me is: 1. Drink plenty of water 2. Exercise or if you can't for some reason, walk like I do. I walk about 3 miles per day weather permitting. 3. Weigh yourself…
  • I've been here for about a month and a half. I love it. The program makes it so easy to keep track of what you're eating and being able to enter your weight is a big incentive to see your ticker move. It's helped me lose 31 pounds in less than two months. Also I have myfitnesspal on my iPhone and both stay in sync without…
  • Good job. This is the right place to be. I've been on a Slimfast diet for about a month and a half and lost 31 pounds. I was at 260 and now I weigh 229. At first I was worried about the rapid weight loss but I feel great, my blood pressure is perfect (without the pills I used to take) and my heart rate has come down a lot.…
  • I'm keeping a close watch on my BP and I feel great. Congratulations on your weight loss progress. I've got 40 more lbs to go.
  • No. I was bad and did it on my own but I am monitoring my blood pressure at least 3 times a day. I'll talk to my doc about it in a few weeks when I see her.
  • Thanks for the advise. I monitor my blood pressure at least 3 times a day. I have a doctor appt. in about 3 weeks and will discuss what I'm doing.
  • That's some of the things I've started doing. Thanks for the tips.
  • Ha ha. Thanks MissSusie. I love Whale Wars and anytime they save any kind of wildlife it's a victory. Also, thanks for the diet tip. I've tried a little Milk of Magnesia and it worked good. I've added more fruit to my diet which also helped.
  • Yes. Water helps for me. Lots of water kills that urge for snacks. Tea or coffee with Splenda works fine too if it doesn't keep you up all night.. Maybe decaf but I don't like decaf.
