I've lost 16 and have been feeling EXACTLY THE SAME way lately. I have been letting it bring me down too. Not good. But what's helped me is looking at myself 16lbs ago. I definitely do not want to be there again. sometimes it helps to look back...??

^That. The dressing is the bad part. Otherwise, its just a salad!

Everyone has different preferences but this is how I started: 1- Figured out how much I need to lose and what my long term/short term goals are 2- Researched what kind of foods I should/shouldn't be eating. Basically cut out processed and junk foods and threw in more veggies and fruits and protein. 3- Committed to regular…

I haven't done it in years, but this year I am going to give it an honest 100% try. Probably not all 30 days but we'll see! Interested in the responses here... I want some tips on how/what to eat and exercise, etc.....

you know what, I think the only thing you can do is exactly what you did. Keep pushing through. I had one of those days yesterday. I got down the street and wanted to turn around so badly. The worse part was the damn excuses running through my head. I just told myself NO MATTER WHAT i am going to finish this run to the…

between 1500- 1700 depending on my activity. I did the 1200 ish for a while, no benefit. Well, no *better* benefit.

Sorry this isn't helpful, but my husb. gained the same weight I did when I was pregnant! lol (30 lbs) Once the baby was born he pretty much dropped it within 2 months. Just from getting into a routine and eating better. you can do it! :D

I got a super cozy sweatshirt from Old Navy. I loved it so much. One day I put it on and It was so tight it was no longer cozy or comfy. THEN... During a convo. with my 4yr old, she expressed her desire to have a pimple because "I" had one. I explained to her that those are not good things and not to wish for them... she…

Even if I never lose another ounce from running, I will continue to do it as much and as often as I can. No other workout makes me feel that good. It HAS improved my lungs and legs. My first day of running, I couldn't run a full minute. Now I run almost 5 miles. And why is this about women? Do they dominate all runners?…

Very, that's why I don't do it. I can't afford to not have energy- I have too much to do :\
-
Don't give up. I've gone by that advice and found success.

Lots of garbage on the internet.... I just hope the majority of people know better.

I'm sorry :\ That is horrible and not fair. But you are not far from their maximum "weight allowance"... and the fact that you are actively addressing the issue and getting healthy is awesome! Keep it up, you can do it. All these obstacles are just a bump in the road to success. Good luck!

After a couple months of doing other things I thought I'd give it a try- Day 1: Horrible, sucked, I felt defeated. I made myself run everyday after that until either I liked it or became good at it. Now I love it so much! :)

In the big picture it doesn't matter unless you are spending most of your day sleeping. Naps can also boost your energy afterwards so really it balances out.

No but it's not a bad idea! :)
