I'm 5'1- I stick to 1350. 1200 is not enough. 1350 is sufficient to where i'm not starving. I do not eat back my workout calories.

I'm super excited, especially because I'll be doing the cooking.... As much as I hate cooking, I really enjoy making delicious healthy food for my family.... and showing them that eating healthy doesn't mean its gross. That makes it all worth it. Sure, i'll probably eat a lot but I'll balance it out before and afterwards.

I do those things when Im feeling low on motivation also... you really have to fight it. Dont forget all the reasons why you want to do this... and all the reasons why you should keep pushing on!

I see where you are coming from, as a short woman I'm not attracted to guys who are my size or smaller. You can't really help who you're attracted to.... Plus I've always been self conscious about my weight and low self esteem about being fat- I don't think I could emotionally handle my s/o being smaller than me.

Honestly, it is hard. You have to find ways to make healthy food taste good so the others will like it too. Fried food for example, there are alternate methods like baking that turn out equally as delicious. Trial and error!!! Good luck and don't give up!

SW: 141 CW: 115 I did a lot of experimenting with calories and macros... i made tons of mistakes until i found what worked for me. My advice would be to hang in there and keep pushing on. Stay within your caloric limits, try to venture out…

Yes I used to feel this way in the beginning when I would force myself to do workouts I didn't enjoy. Have you tried other forms of exercise? Like zumba, dancing, sports, etc? I got sick of Jillian's video after 3 weeks.

what i do in those situations is look up similar foods and take an average as far as calorie count... That and i always add an extra 50-100 cals just in case. not the best way to do it but sometimes you just don't know. :\

great results! As long as you're eating enough, which sounds like you are, losing at that rate sounds right for you! GREAT JOB! I just started P90x this week... love it!

that makes sense- I prefer diet coke over regular simply because of taste- and i don't even like the taste of alcohol so if I were to drink i really wouldn't want the "added" calories anyways. I guess this is really just a good option for those who plan on going overboard with drinking... or for those who do it often…

I just started P90x so i HAD to check that out... omg fantastic results! I love that you looked toned and not just skinny with no muscle. I cant believe that was only 30 days. You just gave me a whole lot of motivation!!! :)

If you have Netflix there are some workouts there.... otherwise I'd say go for a nice run... or jump rope... that burns a lot too.

Age: 27 Height: 5' 1'' SW: 141 CW: 115 GW: 105 I've slowed down on the weight loss quite a bit. Sort of in a freeze mode- but i just began P90x so i am focusing on that more than the number on the scale right now.

I just started drinking green tea... not for dieting purposes actually. My mom wanted me to try it and i liked it. It has several health benefits, so why not! For ME I've found when I drink green tea i feel less hungry and it helps with digestion.

I don't care what or how much other ppl eat at a restaurant... I'm not there to be concerned with others. I don't know why that would make other ppl uncomfortable if YOU don't eat?? Strange.
