I like to think that I am both positive and supportive! :D

I do primarily body weight exercises and I am happy with my results. :)

Which part of NY are you in? I am in PA, but I have tons of friends and family in NY.

I love ab exercises! :) I have about a million. V-ups and Hip Raises, reverse crunches where you push your heels toward the ceiling after bringing your knees to your chest. Heel tap leg lifts. If you have questions add or message me. I have a bunch of ab workout videos on my blog/youtube.

Last time I was at the Dr (about 2 days before the pic in my main image) I was weighed as overweight for my height. My dr looked at the weight in my chart, and asked if it was correct. He said I look "very tiny to weigh that much." I told him I'm very muscular, and his response was "huh." LOL BMI is not the most accurate…

You look amazing!!! Congratulations!

When I started doing yoga I went from 5'3" to 5'5", but I have scoliosis so I think it may have strengthened some muscles, and straightened my spine a bit (or I had a very late in life growth spurt). Keeping your core strong and supported is the best way to improve your posture so you look/stand taller, but stretching…

I just saw an article about the uproar over her and it's ridiculous! She's gorgeous!

I like to make steel cut pumpkin oatmeal. Otherwise with some vanilla soy milk and a touch of honey. 4. FAVORITE PASTA DISH? Oh man, to hard…

I do all home workouts and film them, and share them on my blog/youtube page. I think I have about 200 different workouts at this point. :)

I have exercise induced asthma in certain conditions (poor air quality, high humidity, high allergen content in the air, etc), but I have healthy lungs. My doctor prescribed me an inhaler to use on an as needed basis. If you don't have asthma an inhaler doesn't do anything for you, if you do it increases the percentage of…

Protein helps keep you full. Sometimes I have a small green apple after a workout, and some water. That seems to do the trick. I actually tend to eat right before I work out (but not everyone's body can handle that) so I am not typically hungry afterwards. My hubby always has a protein bar (around 200 calories) after his…

It isn't! My hubby is 5'8" and I think he's the perfect height for me. :) He does complain sometimes when I wear super high heels (I am about 5'5") that make me an inch or two taller than him, but he deals with it because he knows that I LOVE high shoes! My sister and her boyfriend are both 5'8" and it doesn't bother…

You look amazing! Great job!

I do all of my workouts at home. I have a website with free videos of all of my workouts if you need ideas: www.benderfitness.com or www.youtube.com/mdloughy I think it depends more on what motivates you. I like working out at home because there isn't any excuse for missing a workout. :)

Core exercises will definitely help, try exercises that target your abs/core from all angles.

I think I am curvy and athletic. I found a picture recently from a time when I was a bit too thin, and I was a little bit more boyish. I prefer the curves and muscles. :)

One of my best friends is a doctor and I am going to ask her about this. I just did some research online (because I have never heard of this and I am a total nerd so I needed to find more info). I thought this site was useful: http://www.isischiropractic.co.uk/chiropractic_rib_pain.html From what I saw rest is important to…

So excited for this post!!!! I love hummus! I usually just buy it, but I am going to try making it. :)

It's soooo good! I hope you like it! I am going to try the fish taco topping! It sounds fantastic. :)

I love it!!!! I mix a cup of 0% greek yogurt with a tablespoon of Peanut Butter, and a packet of stevia in the raw, and it's delicious. You can also use it plain as a substitute for sour cream. My husband didn't even notice a difference! Plus, I bake with it all the time.

Oh my gosh, my weight goes up an average of 5 pounds at that time! It's consistent, and it's always gone afterwards. It may have something to do with the fact that I crave salt like crazy, lol.

I do it a little bit differently, but this is one of my favorite snacks! :) I like your method!

I have a blog and youtube channel with all of my workouts for free. www.benderfitness.com or www.youtube.com/mdloughy They are all home workouts, and they might give you some ideas until you decide what you want, and what will work best for you.

Great goals! I am trying to increase my pullups. They are very tough! For years I couldn't do it, and then one day I suddenly could! It's a great feeling.

It sounds like you have a well rounded program. You are focusing on all the major areas, including cardio and flexibility. :) Keep us posted on how it goes!

BMI is a flawed scale. It is not an accurate measure of body fat. It is used because it is an easy estimate, not because it is the most accurate measure. According to BMI I am just barely shy of being overweight. It has no way to account for the increased density of muscle as compared to fat. My body fat percentage is no…

That's not true! The more muscle you put on the higher your metabolism is. You will still need to do cardio to burn fat (but weight lifting burns fat as well). You can do cardio and toning at the same time, and your results will be quicker. You can tone your arms with body weight exercises, light weights, or heavy weights.…

You look amazing!!! You should be so proud of yourself for becoming so much healthier! :)

It was very rude of him to complain like that throughout the date, especially as you were paying your own way most of the time. To me the way he was acting is the bigger issue than who is paying. I wouldn't worry about it to much. If you're just a couple of dates in and there is that much negativity it's not a good sign. I…
