I only do home workouts. You can definitely get good results at home. As other people already mentioned you need to add 1-2 rest days. Additionally, because you are just starting out you may want to start with 3 or 4 days per week, see how your body handles it, and increase from there. You have to figure out a routine that…

He will switch it up for you! It's part of his job, and it shows that you are staying engaged in the workout process. :) Some people like having workouts to repeat/get good at. Others like to constantly try new things.

Everyone starts somewhere! When I first started running I couldn't make it more than a couple blocks without stopping. Keep at it, and try to progress a little bit at a time. Next time aim for 3.5 or 4 minutes without stopping and build from there.

You guys are motivating! Congrats on all of the awesome transformations!

Occupational Therapist, Fitness Blogger, Group Fitness Instructor, Yoga Teacher. (It's possible that I like doing to many things, lol).

It looks like you have abs to me! Good job!

I run on both and there is definitely a difference. If you want to simulate outdoor running, and prevent over-extension of the back during the movement (this is common if you run toward the front of the treadmill) you should use a 2% incline while running on the treadmill. Personally I find treadmill running easier to…

I have a steel cut pumpkin oatmeal recipe. I need to look for it, but I will post it. :)

I bake mine in the over, about 45 minutes or so. I can eat it plain or with some spaghetti sauce. I love it! I have one on my counter right now waiting to be cooked. :)

As always you are an inspiration! Great progress photos! :D

5'5" about 135 pounds, and happy with that weight. Always happy to have more friends!

I run and do HIIT style workouts. I think it's improtant to figure out what works for you.

Garmin has it's own tracking information: connect.garmin.com and the Training Center. I also linked mine to earndit.com so I can earn rewards/make donations based on the number of points I earn from my outdoor runs. Hope that helps!

It's proportional to the muscle mass, and body fat percentage. It definitely varies.

I'm a home workout gal myself. Maybe if you stick with it you will get used to it and not worry about it as much. :/

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Just remember to stay on track, and do what makes you feel good, healthy and happy. I will pray that things get better, and you find a way to deal with negative people.

I love steel cut oats! My crockpot is in use right now (vegetable stew) or else I would be trying this out tonight. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Also, I have subbed maple syrup and it works great!

Congratulations!!!! I hope that you are proud of all of your success. You have proved that you can do anything you put your mind to. :)

This sounds delicious!!! I am going to check if I have all of the ingredients. I think I just need to get the flour!

Congrats on your success! :) That's fantastic!!!! I do a lot of running, and HIIT workouts with strength training, and I haven't lost any muscle mass, or experienced any set backs. It's all about what works for you, and your particular body type. I love running, and if you enjoy it I don't think you should give it up.

There are many different ways you can do strides and sprints. One easy way is to go to a track and sprint the straight parts, jog the curves for recovery. If you are doing this as your entire workout you can do 4-8 or so depending on how you feel. If you are doing this in addition to a workout you can do it about 3-5X…

I think it just depends on your personal trainer. :) It doesn't hurt to ask, but I wouldn't take it personally if he says no. Sending out a mass e-mail only takes seconds, but sending out individualized e-mails to all of his clients, with different goals, (some people want to gain mass, others lose, etc) can actually be…

Body fat calculators aren't very accurate. If your weight is staying the same, but you are losing inches, you are most likely losing fat.

:) Feel free to add me!

I love push ups and I do all kinds! You will get stronger, and they are great for your core, as well as your upper body. Stick with it and focus on form.

That is frightening. Please follow up with someone else. If she has done some type of metabolism testing to determine that your intake should be that low it is a different story, but jumping to that conclusion without further testing does not seem accurate to me.

OMG! That made me laugh so hard. That's karma.
