I had huge success with 16-8 IF. I lost weight and got pregnant naturally doing it so I'm a big fan. I coupled it with low carb (150 net, so not too low), made sure to stay hydrated, and followed the TDEE method of calorie counting. I don't do it anymore, but I'd recommend looking at some of the IF ladies groups on here.…

I don't know if dog fighting is an issue in your area, but I would be REALLY careful about advertising her heavily if it is. I have a lovely, snuggly female bully who was almost resigned to blood sport because her former owners wanted someone to adopt her. After they posted her on Craigslist, fight runners tried to force…

So beautiful! Rockin' the fabulous hat.

I'm due for our first on July 18th! Would love to have some other pg friends :) My main symptom is nausea...turkey smelled horrible to me on Thanksgiving! Also, about calcium: I take Vitafusion Calcium Gummy Vitamins for Adults, $11 at Costco for two giant bottles, along with my daily prenatal. They provide an extra…

Thanks so much for your posts all. I'm really appreciating the support I'm finding on here too! I'm really trying right now to keep a positive attitude. I'm not pg yet, but I'm ovulating, I'm losing weight, and DH and I are happy. I'm trying to focus on those positives instead of dwelling on the negatives - you're totally…

Aw Gup could you PM me your food diary key, if you don't mind? I would love to see how someone does low sugar.

Thanks for the requests and the feedback :) Yay, new friends! Caguppie, I've been recently introduced to the sugar counting/anti-fructose approach to this. I haven't been eating much fruit in the past two weeks purely by chance, and I actually feel a lot better than I did before. When I get more organized I might try…

I didn't even know that aqua zumba was a thing, and it sounds extremely AMAZING! I am going to try it. Thanks for posting!

I've adapted to a low-carb lifestyle because I have an endocrine/reproductive condition that causes insulin insensitivity. It's worked wonders for me!

I feel terrible that nobody's replied to your post yet. Long story short: each different version of the pill is packaged a little differently. My OB/GYN told me that some of the packaging causes side effects like yours, so I would definitely recommend that you ask for a different version of the pill. I switched to a…

Same situation here, but not with a cousin. My man's 25th is coming up, so I understand the age/fashion combination. He used to wear those horrible fashion slogan t-shirts everywhere ["Got Me? I'll Do Your Body Good. / "Beer: Now Cheaper Than Gas." / "Let's Play Army: I Lie Down, and You Blow Me Away." Needless to say, I…

Great job!

I pack my healthy lunches the night before. It's worth it for me, because it means I stick to healthy eating even when I'm busy.

I'm glad I hate soda too!

ROFL..........................................:noway: Also, nice job ladies

OP: This all depends on the wife's, and the husband's, perception of motherhood. Most people believe that motherhood is sacred, and thus shouldn't be commodified, so they have a problem with surrogate motherhood in and of itself. Additionally, mothers are part of a family unit, of which husbands and wives are also a part.…

I did the 19/5 thing yesterday completely by chance. I have no input on this "starvation mode" thing, but here's what happened: Previous night, around 6, stopped eating. Didn't eat until 1 pm the next day. Ate about 600-300 calories every couple of hours between 1 and 6. Woke up at 3 AM hungry the next day. Pros: With…

I have PCOS. Although I know you don't, PCOS also causes ammenorhea (lack of a period) for months at a time too. My doctor explained to me that not having a period for months at a time can be potentially dangerous, because during that time the endometrial lining is filling with blood in preparation for conception. If this…

Lol! My man to a T.

I started at 203 and my goal is 145! I'm 165 right now but I would still totally love being friends. Feel free to add :flowerforyou:

I do something like this too! One side laughing cow, the other hummus. Egg white and a slice of tomato. One of my favorite breakfast things ever!

One time when I was in high school I went to church alone and someone said to me: "It's so good that you're here. [looks down] You're...pregnant, right?" Needless to say I never wore THAT top again. Lol.

Absolutely love the Crystal Lite Lemonade. Not so hot on their other flavors actually, but the lemonade is tasty :drinker:

This. Engaging and a bit of a challenge. Especially fun if you like yoga/pilates. I also like the Kickboxing Bootcamp 10 Minute Solutions.

I'm happily with a guy named Jeff and I highly recommend them, ladies! Haha. But really, so sorry to hear about your breakup. They can be so painful and you did sound invested in her, and your relationship. Still, you have a lot of positives going for you right now - your exercise, your weight loss, etc - and it always…

I've been logging so long that I've memorized the amount of calories in my most-eaten foods. Sometimes, if I know how many calories I have left, and I know that I won't go over eating a certain thing, I'll eat it without logging. This usually happens towards the end of the day, and has no correlation with what day of the…

I'm sure others have said this, but: 1. Probiotics. 2. Enough fiber. (both kinds) 3. Enough water. Too much 2 with not enough 3 will actually constipate you further. And if you struggle with this issue, 8 cups a day is the bare minimum! (at least for me.)

You're making me miss CA!!!!!

Tomatoes, Hummus, and Bacon! :drinker:
