I did herbalife for a few months when I was 13. Lost weight then gained it all back on (plus more) when I started eating properly. Like others have said, eat real food. Don't feel like it? Make a smoothie with a decent amount of calories.

that's amazing, well done!!!

I think I ate chocolate every day this week and lost 700g (that's the biggest lost I've had since I started out). Definitely possible. Of course it fitted well in my macros, it was dark chocolate and I had about 10g a day some days more. Get her to track and eat dark chocolate.

definitely agree. I try to look worse after each work out haha.

this!! get to know your body. find out what works for you. enjoy it!! it is tough but it is so worth it and weight loss and fitness is actually kind of fun. :)
-
I probably drink more than that. Especially on work out days.

I actually never used to do that, but I do now! Isn't that funny? I store my dark chocolate in my room which literally lasts me MONTHS. I don't keep it in plain view not because I think my family will touch it, but because I like to know it's there for when I want it. I don't actually know why I keep it in my room knowing…

it's an amazing feeling isn't it!!

this... that drops seems to good to be true.

I did do six days then I hit a weight loss plateau! So cut it back to five and I'm going a lot better now. Feel free to add me.

depends on how much you weight/what you do.. I usually drink about 3L on a rest day. 3-5L on a workout day..
-
It's not about exercising to eat more. It's about eating enough so you can work out.

people at work like that I have high energy levels...

I don't think everyone who has a hard time losing weight should just take vitamin D supplements. You might not need them. Get tested properly and see if you have a deficiency, then take them.
-
would you be able to open up your diary? it could just be water weight. TOM, too much salt, exercising too much (or too little)? when did you start noticing the weight gain?
-
I keep it on when I'm stretching, and turn it off about 5-10 minutes after that. I have it on during the entire workout, including warm up. But I don't eat back all my exercise calories, usually less than half... My cycle instructor told us to leave it on for a while after our class *shrug*

search strength training under cardio

neither. honey!! I actually don't use either sugar or substitutes... I occasionally use honey though, especially if I'm a bit sick (like now). otherwise I'm happy without sugar.

Ditch your training partner. you'd be better off on your own. or you could find another one at your gym. I'd make a complaint against that trainer. 1. they're not training you so they're not doing their job properly. 2. they were talking in Spanish in front of you (unprofessional). 3. if there IS something going on between…

It could be, granted that you vary the intensity. You can't go hard 7 days straight without burning out. If you do 7 days, make sure you have a few easy days in between the hard days.
-
what about a glass of milk and a banana instead? go for natural sugars..
-
body weight exercises is a good place to start with strength training. then you can slowly add equipment. do you have access to a gym or a trainer? because that would be good so you'd have a good plan and also will be corrected on your technique.

what supplements are you referring to? I take iron because I have thalassemia. Even if I ate red meat everyday I'd still struggle with my iron levels. I take vitamin D occasionally as I've had low vitamin D levels in the past. My skin doesn't absorb vitamin D from the sun well. I take magnesium after intense workouts. I…

your weight is probably just fluctuating. I'd keep an eye on it but don't get too upset. you're probably doing everything right, keep it up and your body will follow. :)

I'm going with what has been said. Eat properly, stop eating junk, and drink plenty of water. You don't need to detox, your body will do itself.
-
I don't drink often (was like this before weight loss), but if I do I'll have a few. I try to account for it in my calorie goals but I tend to go over when I drink even though I don't drink much! The odd drink won't hurt, but binging twice a week will.

my HRM actually shows less burned than some machines, but I don't use machines much either, so... I never eat back all my exercise calories, only some. if you know your body well enough you'll know how much and what you need after a workout.
-
thanks for that tip! can I just throw it in with a bunch of clothes? I'm going to test this swimming soon.
