Hello there! I am 26, and I am between 5'2" and 5'3"... When I started my weight loss journey, I put a starting weight of 232 lb, but I have a feeling at some point I may have been a little heavier than that! I got engaged and lost about 42 lbs or so before my wedding in October of 2012. As of now, I have lost about 67…

You look ONE-derful! I love the dress, too! Congratulations on your hard work! It is SUCH a wonderful feeling not seeing a single "2" in your weight for the first time! You look amazing!

Here in Central Iowa as well with Heat Index of 113 - 123 with humidity at 53% - 63%! I don't even like when it hits the 80s, so I'm dying in this weather! I feel like I'm melting!

Welcome! I was from Northeastern Iowa (sorta...) and am now in Central Iowa, but welcome fellow Iowan!

I'm in! Anyone is free to add me! 24 years old, and currently at 223 (at only 5'2") but looking to get down to 120 by October of next year (when I'm getting married), so I have a tough road ahead that I can NOT give up on! I don't have time to mess around! : )

I am so happy to see that this thread has exploded! I started it back in September. I completely lost track - once again - and kept thinking I was doing just fine and didn't weigh-in forever. Well, I did, and I'm up SIX POUNDS!!! But - I have got to get on track. I'm just afraid if I don't do it now, I will keep going in…

Thanks to everyone! I logged in everything I ate, and WOAH was I over!!! I am ready to start again. I'm READY for this!!! I decided I needed to start making some goals... So here's my stats and my first two goals (I don't want to project it out too much, small steps!) is below. SW: 225 CW: 212.5 GW: 115 <-- (I know this…

Here I am! Here I started the thread and just kinda went absent! It sounds like so many of you have been successful! Needless to say, I haven't really been. No logging, no exercising other than my walking to classes on campus and teaching dance (which is actually a lot, but only on the two days I teach). These are the…

Great idea! I think the reason is soooo important... Well, so the first time I really started losing weight was when I joined Weight Watchers in May of 2009. As I've said before, I'm a dance teacher. I had a solo in recital in a cute (or so I thought) little red dress costume. When I dance, I always picture myself doing…

THANKS! I love this!

I am SO glad everyone responded so positively to this!!! I am 23 - but have been overweight since, well, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure it started when I was around 18? Ha ha. Sad I can't even figure out when it started! I know I am very overweight (I'm, well, 212 at my last weigh in and I'm only 5'2"). As weird as it…

Hey, I've fallen off, too. And I was even losing and doing so well! I'm a college student (graduating this semester, starting my graduate work in January), and I teach dance during the school year. This makes for a schedule with little to no routine. My summer job I work 8-5, hour lunch, Mon - Fri, and spend most of my…

Hey everyone! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing! I was down to 214.1!! Maybe I can make it below 200's by the end August, but I know I can make it below 210 by then! I hope everyone else is doing well!!!

I really like it! It's a great work-out and as somone else said on here, I think, I went from doing WiiFit, which is somewhat of a work-out, to this. It's a great way for me to start getting into some more serious work-outs. I'll be doing Day 3 Level 2 today. I will say I have to do the modified version of some of the…

There's a lot of other people here who have a long road ahead of them, too, and I'm surely one of them! Best of luck on everything!!! If you need any support, feel free to contact me (or anyone on this site! They're all wonderful!). And remember... You can do it!

I'm so in! I'm at around 217 right now! I don't know if I can hit it by the end of August, but I'm hoping I can at least reach below 210 by then! I love this site!

loopy - I don't know how to do that "quote" thing, but this is your answer! It's Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. It's a DVD that is approximately 27 minutes long (including warm-up, exercise, and cool-down). You do 3-min of strength training (using hand weights), 2-min of cardio, then 1-min of abs, no break, three times…

Hi everyone! I love the Wii! So I thought I'd join in! I use WiiFit Plus to do my weigh-in. I've completely mastered both the regular stepping and advanced stepping (Perfect on every single step!) and gotten "Perfect March!" on both the beginner and advanced Parade March thing. But, I still can not finish the stupid…

I always count it! I have my activity level set at sedentary since I have a desk job, so any extra work I do on my feet I definitely count!

I really like osupike35's idea! I've been where you're at before... I've tried NutriSystem, Weight Watchers, and just plain dieting! And all of them worked, really! I just got tired of doing them or slowly became less and less motivated to log in, eat right, ect. This time, things are a bit different. First off, instead of…
