YES. Given many places offer 6 or 9 ounce pours, it's easy to go way over.

That was a good read. Thanks. My N=1 is: I can't lose weight if I have alcohol with any regularity. Sighs. Also: folks who drink wine, and log: DOUBLE CHECK the entries. Someone put ridiculously HIGH carb counts (like 20grams a glass) for many dry white wines.

Keep up the good work!!

No idea. My mom had a hysterectomy. My oldest sister slammed through menopause when her husband died. My other sister has multiple autoimmune disorders so it's hard to know what's menopause. My only living aunt had a hysterectomy. Her daughter had one. I'm a pioneer! lol

It drives me crazy that they conflate meat with processed meat.

Ah heck. Ok, here's a messy cut and paste: Opinion Health sector A false alarm on red meat and cancer Two large trials have tested for evidence and the WHO ignored both of them, writes Gordon Guyatt Gordon Guyatt NOVEMBER 24, 2015 This month the World Health Organisation announced that eating red meat is an activity…

It does get better, but it can be a challenge. I found that I had serious carb cravings (like PMS) for about 18 months. And, while I did a pretty good job of not giving in to them, the scale still went up. The hot flashes are annoying, for sure. The crushing fatigue also made exercise a challenge. I "paused" in late 2016,…

I struggle with breakfast. Always have. I average 0-300. Some days I can't choke down anything. Some days I choke down a protein shake. Some days I can make myself do some protein and veg. It all depends.

Comes and goes for me. Hubs likes to make "tea eggs". And when he does then we each eat at least one a day.
-
I'm sort of the opposite: my periods were pretty easy. Menopause has been more eventful. I think what I notice the most is "outbreaks" of hot flashes. They seem to come and go every couple of months.

This is a major NECROPOST. But I'm replying because your issue seems to be exactly the OPPOSITE of the OP?
-
FWIW, it's $9.99 in standard definition. If that makes a difference for some.
-
Nearly a year has past since this OP, which is about 2 years past the "end". And YES. I still noticed patterns. I'll feel GREAT for weeks and weeks, and then I'll feel bad, worse, WAY WORSE than typical PMS and then just as quickly it's gone and I'll feel fine to great, again. Fascinating. (This is one of the WORSE times).…

Great read, thanks.

Age, gender, height, current weight, activity level all need to be considered.

Given this: could you find something compliant in the airport and bring it on board with you?

mmmm, peanuts!

His opinion is usually pretty well informed.

I usually opt for the GF options and pick through.

I haven't seen them at our costco. Similar concept to the shirataki noodles. WHERE in costco are you finding them?

To clarify: Atkins does not eliminate "an entire food group". Not at the beginning, and not in its later phases. Not even close.
-
If you've decided Atkins is for you, consider joining the low carb group here. Lots of Atkins, and other low carb eaters there. LOTS. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum

I love zip fizz as well. I drink one every morning.

Hello! Since you're new to keto I'll say: there are a lot of resources in our launch pad. Good luck!
-
Heh. I spoke too soon. The new generic was NOT a good fit. My sleeping heart rate went through the roof. So now I'm back to compounded progesterone.

To clarify: that's how Premarin is made. Not all HRT is made from pregnant mare urine.
