My husband keeps me motivated, we both don't want to see me in the same health situation that my parents and brother are in.

Try splitting a entree with your friend, or check the menu online for calorie content etc.

Currently at 165...going for 150. Depends on what my body looks like if I change the goal.

I was a size 3 in high school and I never want to be that size again. I looked very unhealthy. I'm looking to be a 8-10, which was my later college year weight. I was very healthy looking at that size.

Congrats. I was in the same situation but found some cute clothes at the good will and thrift stores for very little money.

That is a hard one since everything there is served family style. Can you pull up the menu before hand? Good luck...Avoid the chocolate cake there :)

Look them in the eye, shrug and enjoy the soda or piece of cake. Family always know what buttons to push so I've learned to ignore the negative family members and realize they are just jealous.

I don't believe in Valentines day. My husband would spoil me on that day if I wanted, but I have always felt V-day was a load of crap and an excuse for stores to make guys jump through hoops. The only thing we may take advantage of is some of the dinner specials if we are crazy enough to go out that night.
