thanks guys....I was between 2 sizes so opted for the lower one as I was doing so well in April, totally my fault...and even though I've lost more weight, my bust measurement hasn't moved :( its come off my *kitten* & legs - which will be hidden under my dress lol x

Karen, Whitley Bay, north East. Lost 50lbs on here a few years ago eating 1200 cals a day, but I put it all back on again so starting from scratch again :( .....no more 1200 cals though! Trying to eat as much as I can and still lose steadily, along with lifting weights 3 x week. Add me!

Anyone know how 'temporary' the temporary (water etc) weight gain is for newbies? I put on 5# on and it's not budging, when will it start to go down...don't say throw away the scale and measure instead, I'm still 40lbs overweight so it needs to go down...

Everyone is doing so well! Yay! Apart from me lol....cannot get past 35kg on the squat...which is now the same as my BP and BOR!! And dont get me started on the mess that is the OHP! only got to 25kg 3 x 5 on those, and that was with a little bend and push from the knees to help! But deadlifts...60kg and nowhere near…

So true this thread...i'm the same, got to a place where I think, yeah, I look good in the mirror...then I see a photo and want to cry! Body dysmorphia but the other way around! Also, I think I let myself get so big, as I didnt think I was that big? if that makes sense?

Yes, I would take them both, she said it would break their hearts to be split up! And they are all trained up, grew up with kids, and good on/off the leash I live 5 mins fro the beach and a huge park so they'd get lots regular long walks!! Eeeek I'm uber excited! I hope they like us!! :) Fingers crossed for us xx

powdered chalk is banned in my gym, but I saw someone using liquid chalk in a bottle whch could be an option if your gym banned chalk too...

I've never scared anone off coz I have a kid, at my age (43) most people have....but I just scared someone away when he found out I bench press!!! :(

I've spent time watching loads of the barbell row vids...but as soon as I get in the gym I forget! Wish the stronglifts app talked to me while I did it! In fact...I wonder if there's a way to get a podcast or something to listen to while doing it to keep me right???
