Thanks everyone...looks like I'm stuck with it then :( and I hope my daughter doesn't get it too..you'd think there would be a way to stop the over-production of keratin rather than just treat the bumps by scrubbing. I really thought it was a 'fat thing' lol x

Crikey! Here in England we'd be arrested for carrying any of these weapons! but this post has made me think...as the headphones and loud music are always on! I guess the only English defence would be to turn down the music...and outrun anyone!

I've lost 22lbs (4 before discovering MFP) and I'm still wearing the same clothes and no-one has noticed at all. I started at 226lbs. I didn't take any photos...going to do that tonight so hopefully will see a difference after the next 20! x

What I dont understand is when you do your settings, it asks you how much exercise you do...I put in 3 x 30 mins pw....so in the calorie allowance it has surely made some adjustment for this in the first place iyswim?

Thank you guys...I've had a shake and some fruit to up my intake to nearly 1200 for today and I'll see how I go tomorrow...I'm feeling great, buzzing in fact after my run. But i understand the science behind it all so ate a bit more to be on the safe side :)

I started it today on the local running track and thought I was going to have a heart attack! it was so tough, my face was bright red, i was sweating, and heavy breathing like i had emphysemia (apologies for bad spelling!) BUT....two hours later after I got my breath back I felt fantastic! Just hoping I can walk tomorrow…

I did the same! Went round all the second hand shops and bought them all up! Did Beverley Callards last night (an easy starter) and also got Michelle McManus' DVD to do tomorrow..if she can do it then so can I! Keeping the 'brutal ones' til my body gets used to exercise. It's good to alternate so it doesn't get boring :)…

Great thread! 9lb to go to get under the 200lb mark for me...hadn't thought about it before now as I'm English and we work in stones not pounds, so for me to get under 15 stone was an achievement, but I'm gonna go for the 199 as the next target! Me too! 43 and 43 pounds left to lose! I'm just new here, not sure how the friends thing works...but I know the calorie counting does!! Lost 10lb already, even over Christmas x
