Today was overhead press day again and I was able to complete it. I guess it was bad form or something. It was tough on the last one but went well. Great workout today.

It may have just been a bad day, I knocked out the OHP the workout before yesterday without any problems and 5 more pounds should not have made that much of a difference. I am going to look at my form in the lift. I was in a hell of a hurry yesterday morning and may have been sloppy in my OHP. I appreciate the help.…

The soreness will pass. This is my fourth week back lifting and doing stronglifts. The first week my legs hurt so bad I had to grit my teeth to walk. By Thursday of the first week it started to pass and by the Monday of the second week there wasn't any soreness. I am really enjoying the program and I'm sure you will as…

I personally plan to go over to the dark side from time to time. I will through a get together, get a keg of beer, smoke briskets and ribs and not give a damn. When I get the house clean afterwards I get my diet clean as well and I'm back on track. It works for me and I don't worry about it. I haven't found one day or even…

I started the program with the sets that were set up in Stronglifts due to not lifting for several years (compression of the lower lumbar in a fall) and have not used a belt, but when the weight starts getting higher, around week 10 or so, I probably will.

My calorie intake fluctuates. I know some people get pretty fixated on weighing food and trying to get calories consumed down the calorie, and will get paranoid to the point that they will eat exactly their daily calorie goal. I personally use MFP as a general range of what I am eating. There are days I will eat around…

Second the blue tooth wireless stereo headphones. I hated the earbud wire especially when do some of my lifts like rows and dead lifts.

Yeah, the soreness has tapered off a lot. My hamstrings are still tight but all in all not bad. Friday morning when I did my squats it was sore when I started, but when I got finished with the set the soreness was almost all gone. I believe after this next weeks lifting days it should be back to normal. I do appreciate all…

I'm shooting for between 150 to 160 g of protein. On my lift days I try to make sure I hit in that range since I do my workout first thing in the morning (around 5 am). On the days I don't lift if I'm a little under, say the 120 range I don't beat myself up about it.

I'm 6 foot, started out at 265 I didn't see any differences in the belly until this week. I started seeing loss in the legs first. My shirts fit a lot looser and my belt is on the last notch. I'm betting the stomach will be the last to go.

I was going to go to the gym this morning and do half an hour of cardio but decided it might be better to rest some today so my legs could heal and I would be better off when I go back to lift tomorrow. The soreness has gotten better as the day has gone on and it feels a lot better now. The soreness is still there but its…

Oh my goodness, getting up from my desk at lunch time damn near hurt me! Yeah having felt that I think a toilet would be a hell of lot worse...lol! Thanks for the advice guys.. I'm not quitting the program, just gonna suffer through this till the legs get used to it. Thankfully I don't do squats tomorrow morning. I am…

It is the soreness. When I did workout number one on Monday I had no problem, for the most part, going past parallel in the squat. I believe my form is pretty good other than I have my hands wide on the bar instead of closer in. Even though I thoroughly dislike bananas I am going to buy some today on the way home from work…

A pair of Lucchese boots. I have always thought spending a grand on a pair of boots was too much, but hitting my goal would be worth it.

Eating and drinking beer as though I was still a 20 year old frat boy.
