  • Hello everyone! I'm in need of some advice. I'm a 23 year old female who goes to school full time and when I'm not in school, I'm studying. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend who works nights. So far I've lost about 12 pounds but that is only by changing my eating habits, not adding exercise to the equation. I want…

  • okay. i'm what some would consider domestically challeged, but with watching what i'm eating (not only cals, fat, and carbs but sugar and sodium intake as well) its hard cause i mostly eat frozed or canned foods. i'm trying to possibly start to cook a little more and i've been researching lots of recipes but they all have…
  • Wow. Wish I had the time or motivation. That's awesome. Kudos to you!:drinker:
  • I seen there is this new show coming out on Lifetime about replacing certain items in a recipe to make the meal lower in calories and such. Is there a website out there where I can find recipes like this? I'm pretty picky with what I eat so I need all the help I can get. Thanks! :flowerforyou:
  • Is that true? Does Coke Zero really have splenda in it rather than nutrasweet?
  • I wish I did like coffee but I can't stand the taste of it, tea either except diet lipton green tea with citrus, which also happens to have aspartame in it too. :grumble:
  • Me too. I used to drink just one a day for my morning break at school and once I started watching what I was eating, I just quit completely with the exception of a little soda every once in a blue moon. I didn't have headaches or any problem quitting at all unlike some of my co workers did.
  • I personally have tried to stay away from those. The ones I tried a few times had my heart racing and I'm too young for a heart attack. However the other day I was doing some research on Slimquick Cleanse (I decided not to try it) but while I was googling it I came across this website that I think might help.…
  • Wow. You were a busy lady. I can barely hand just school right now! But thanks I never really thought about caffeine pills. I'll have to look into that. Thanks everyone for all your help!
  • I worked at Blockbuster in Baton Rouge and Jason "WeeMan" Acuna from *kitten* came in and rented a movie. Apparently he was dating a girl from here.
  • I don't drink coffee so I need something to get me going in the morning. I'm in clinicals now and I have to be there for 6am and same once I graduate. It seems the only thing to wake me up. I've tried vitamins but since I'm up so early I feel too nauseous after I eat so I usually just eat a nutrition bar. Diet drinks are…
  • And I'm about 5'4"ish
  • I absolutely love this! It's what I've been waiting for but never thought of starting it myself. I'm 23, will be 24 September 11th. Starting weight: 160 lbs Lost so far: 11 lbs. Goal weight: 125-130ish lbs and no jiggling body parts I've always been on the heavy side due to delicious southern/cajun cuisine but now I've…
  • I've completely cut out Diet Dr. Peppers because all I hear are negative things about aspartame. I'm wondering if one diet drink a day is bad or good or neutral. Just looking for other opinions or any information you might have heard. Caffeine is something I need to get the engine going in the morning and the only thing to…
  • You know, I've read that on other websites that it is indeed just a bunch of boloney. I had really been thinking about detoxing and cleansing for a couple weeks now but I've randomly been researching and I think I'm just gonna nix the cleanse or detox. Nice to hear it again, so I know I don't have to go out and spend extra…

  • Wow. This is the first I've heard of this Shred DVD and I'm sold. Can I get it in stores? If so where? And are there any accessories I need for this workout? I don't have it and I'm excited about it.
  • I love Frosted Mini Wheats! Nice choice. I'll have to branch out and try some of the other flavors as well. Thanks.
  • It seems thats all I do now is read labels. Haha. Cooking is not my strong point so a lot of my food is frozen meals or boxed dinners and all of that contains high amounts of sodium. I never realized how quickly it all added up until I started logging all my food. My sugar is usually pretty good its really the salts I have…
  • Both diabetes and hypertension runs on both sides of my family and at 23 I'd like to start early with monitoring my intake. I do little things like eat sugar free jello or I'll drink some crystal light to watch my sugar intake but when it comes to watching my sodium I'm pretty clueless. I was wondering if there was any…
  • I am fairly young, 23, and a full time student in clinicals. I get up way too early to exercise in the morning and by the time I get home my feet and knees hurt too bad to do anything. Plus all my homework kind of hinders that as well. My ankles have bothered me all my life (I was born with clubfeet) and I'm guessing that…
  • I have a Facebook and a MySpace as well.
  • haha. well now i know NOT to try the Fiber One Bars. thanks for the heads up although now I know what to eat when the boyfriend annoys me.
