If you're using a fat caliper some of the 'fat' you are measuring could in-fact just be water weight. Drink at least 8 glasses a day to reduce your water retention, also watch your sodium levels, sodium increases water retention

i appreciate the help you gave, and believe me thats not all that I took away from you post, it actually helped me a lot. I'm just wondering now if you mean I should net a minimum of 1950 calories and then also net back my exercise calories (eg. 250 calories) leaving my net at 2200 calories

thanks, but I dont have sedentary days, nearly every day I go for a 45 minute walk and 4 days a week I lift weights so I'm more active than sedentary

Thanks again!

my goal is 77kg so im about 8kg off, almost there! would you reccomend I lose like 1 pound a week or less? Thanks for your reply!

thanks man, this has really helped. I will aim to lose less then, perhaps my metabolism has taken quite a hit from my large deficit, cheers!

First off, thanks for the quick response :) Secondly, are you saying I should be netting my BMR even if i plan on losing around 2 pounds a week? Because of my exercise level should I only net my BMR calories and no more than that? Limit myself to 2054 net calories?

Thanks, I will make sure to do more running!
