  • lol if I am ever to get to maintenance I hope it is on more than 1200 calories...
  • New Balance because I can get a wide fitting shoe...880 and 1080s I liked Hoka Bondi 4's too but not the new ones.
  • Sorry I realized get this month might not be the best doe a challenge...we are in the middle of moving so it's going to be pretty hard. I am on holidays in Another week so that will help but I probably won't post till then.
  • add me too suerhv I have a vivosmart now too!
  • I need Garmin friends too, just got my vivosmart today! I have a Garmin 220 which I use for running, but I'm doing more gym and less running these days...please friend me! suerhv
  • I went for the garmin vivosmart today...mostly because I already have a Garmin and because it's waterproof and has connectivity with my watch...Thanks for the info though!
  • only 5'2" and 30 ish to lose... re-starting after gaining a lot the last couple years...Add me if you like...I would love to run another half marathon too but I keep injuring myself so will be trying to slowly work up to it....
  • I'm in for 35 miles...need to start slow, I always end up hurting my foot or something if I start too much...and this time I am using the gym as well so will alternate...
  • I'm in! May take one day off on my birthday but otherwise I'm here!
  • Fantastic job!
  • I count it as my basic daily living (lightly active setting)...I teach primary and we are pretty active, picking the kids up at recesses, moving between groups, up and downstairs for library at my school, knowing that some days it is a little more or a little less... I only count exercise as exercise , or if we do a long…
  • I just bought Altra's and have very wide forefoot also...they fit well, but I have to get used to the zero drop! I have also had New Balance 840s in wide (not a light shoe, but worked well for my width)...and Nike Pegasus fits fairly wide too.
  • Javacafe...that sounds so much like what my husband and I have been doing the last few years... 1 did turn to 2....(2 large which is probably 3 some nights)...not every night, but many nights...and I felt bad when he brought home a bottle of wine to be nice to me to not partake...no matter how many times I/we said I need…
  • mrseholley...it says your sight is only viewable by you (trying to add friends using the www.runkeeper.com/user/username method since it wouldn't find anyone for me just by username...so it might not be letting people request you...try that method to add them :)
  • yes, it's a free app (though you can upgrade if you want more detailed reports, etc.). I've tried others and I still like it the best. There are some free training plans you can sign up for, from beginner to marathon training... (I am somewhere between 5k and 10 k right now).
  • I need runkeeper friends too! I've been using it off and on (right now is on!!) since 2011... I think my username is suerhv Please add me! If you can't find me I'll add yours...
  • Yes, 1200 is hard for me...I am definitely hungry, so I upped it to a lower weightloss/week and rounded to 1400-1500...and I eat back my exercise...if not I am starving...also it depends what you are eating and how often as the others said, you need to space out your meals/snacks and make sure you are eating enough protein…
  • You look fantastic!! Good work!!
  • That is fantastic!!! Congrats!!
  • I'm sorry, I don't have a similar issue, though I guess I do comfort eat to fill voids and stress as well, and have some issues with anxiety. I did want to send you many hugs, though. I have heard from others in the past though, that exercise itself does help depression/mood problems, and it does help me... I have also…
  • Ok, well we did celebrate with both of those over the night, and did have fun, we went on a boat cruise and ate out...but today I am back to the iced tea !
  • Just getting back into it as well...good luck!
  • Haha it's summer and it's been hard to reduce or stop drinking for many I'm guessing! Lol we have tended to enjoy more drinking in a stressful spring and then finally a vacation in the summer here...BUT, I am back to cutting down finally... Made myself fancy Teavana iced tea yesterday and drank that with my t.v. shows…
  • Well, all our sidewalks in my city are concrete...so I'm mostly stuck with that, but try to find a few park/forest trails on ashphalt and dirt/grass here and there...or find a high school with a track in the middle of my run and go around it a few times to give my legs a break...
  • I always found running different, too. It does get better as you do it more though...until your lungs are just as good. C25k or just basically starting with run 1 min, then walk, and you'll find you get longer and longer ...
  • Something to think about indeed. I have not been doing great on the wine front either again, but I do enjoy tea and find it relaxing too...just have to remind myself that it solved the same issue for me and stick with that...soothing tea in such a variety of flavours...treat myself to fancy Teavana tea, etc., to make it…
  • you are all amazing!! Great job!!!
  • I have been sick for a a week and a half and was away on vacation the week before that so I am a little off the wagon...can use motivation too...must start logging again, feel free to add me.
  • I agree that right now I am just happy the scale is going down instead of up! I used to think my current weight of 141 was high, but now I would be happy to be back at 130 or hopefully lower once I see I can sustain this losing business. I thought I was 5ft2, the doctor told me last summer I was 5 ft 1... My SW was 152…
