MFP is over estimates calories burned. I use other calculators I find on the internet, or I use apps on my phone and just manually adjust the calories burned.

did your doctor mention anything about monounsaturated fats compared to saturated or did they just say fat in general? I would go back to your doctor and discuss this, nuts and seeds have fats (oils) in them but they are 'healthy'. the best person to discuss this with is your doctor

Whenever I go to a festival I eat about half as much as usual because I'm having fun. Just jump about and dance and have a laugh. Don't stress over it too much. Enjoy it :)

I started running because it annoyed me that I couldn't. We did cross country in sport at school and I was always last. I started to run in sixth form to prove a point to myself.

if you appear to be eating enough and healthily then it may be good to consult a doctor. It may be something unrelated to diet, or if it is related to diet they will be able to advise you on the best diet to solve the problem.
