This is the right approach, small changes that you can keep to. Keep making those small adjustments to your diet and the weight will come off. I'd recommend getting a step counter/pedometer and trying to increase the number of daily steps you can do in a day. You'd be suprised how motivating this can be. Pretty soon a mile…

C'mon, this has to be a wind-up. That kind of behaviour would be an instant dismissal if reported to the management.

That sounds cheap, i'd worry about it shaking all over the place in use or squeaking. What is the model ?

if you have an ipad then Runsocial enables you to run alongside other runners from around the world on virtual locations. Tim Peake ran the London Marathon in space using Runsocial.

plantronics backbeat fit. I tried the jaybirds but couldn't get them to fit well in my ears. The Plantronics are a great fit for me.

a 90% bend doesn't sound right to me, this is more like the angle you should be aiming for: https://youtu.be/I-qgwlP0J90

Happens to me if I run first thing in the morning, just as I get a nice sweat on and the sun starts to shine. Such a great feeling.

The screen is plastic. If you wanted to be sure then a sapphire crystal would be a better choice, virtually scratchproof. The Fenix 3 HRis a multisport watch with built in HR and a sapphire crystal. But it is very expensive and at 51mm diameter may be a big for you. Suunto are bringing out a similar sapphire multisport…

I had this problem after the 4.3 software update. If you select the heart rate widget and wait until the heart symbol is solid and not flashing it means your 235 has locked onto your heart rate. This can take a few minutes. Once you have this then you should be good for selecting your run activity and the watch picking up…

Do you get a heart rate when you select the heart rate widget ?

If you can't find a suitable app then take a look at Gymboss, a cheap portable interval timer device. It will beep and vibrate after the interval. Easy to use and set up.

Vivoactive HR sounds ideal for you.

garmin 235. heart rate is built into the watch, no chest strap and it has gps. Plus it tracks steps. I really like it.

Here's a few workouts you can try, lots of different difficulty levels. https://uk.pinterest.com/brookevennie/treadmill-workouts/

I did 18,000 walking steps yesterday and mfp gave me 360 calories. I was wearing a Garmin 235 which measures steps. 371 cals for 8000 steps just sounds too high. Not sure how your Garmin could have calculated for that unless you were running them at a fast pace ?

Garmin and Garmin Connect works for me.

No-one can say for sure. Go by fit and feel. I have a £20 pair of aldi shoes and a £120 pair of Brooks. Both are great for me.

In my opinion they are a very advanced exercise and require a lot of core strength to be performed correctly. One of the very best movements for your core but have a high risk factor if done incorrectly. Check YouTube, there are a lot of technique instructions out there.

try a short stint at a slow speed and see how you feel the next day.I can't get my heart rate high enough on ellipticals but on a treadmill i can get in the upper zones really quickly.

the sensor clips onto the belt so if you lift weights close to your body you may dislodge it on occasion. The strap it self is really comfy.
-
you can pick a target such as a half marathon or a 10k, get a suitable training plan and then work to that goal. This keeps you on track and motivated.

Holy resurrection thread Batman. You should just be able to press the OK button (middle one) on the FT7 and it will search for the H1. That is all you have to do, there are no other settings. If it is not picking up your H1 then i would change the battery in the sensor.

i use Polar Beat on my android phone, works fine.

online reviews aren't good, seems to have a lot of issues. Most regular treadmills will incline to 20% which is pretty tough to maintain anyway with much better reliability

learning piano for 10 years. Still feel like a rank beginner.

i use some treadmill workouts i found on pinterest which show you exactly what speed to use and for how long. As an example: https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/ATjZLjfnyMJPdNVRFZTzcSFbEWUo1weABmQpQxiOIzDqw_GG1fJSrkk/

i have a spin bike and use it a lot. I watch films on my ipad when cycling which helps with the boredom factor.
