Skierg is also worth looking into and the Rogue Echo bike.

And the tons of free c2 based workouts on YouTube, such as RowAlong, DarkHouse,TrainingTall etc.

Do that.

The concept 2 has awesome ratings ladders where you can compare yourself to everyone else for age/weight/distance. They also have huge Facebook followings. Plus daily WOD’s and a ton of YouTube workouts that are all free. Plus the rower itself is bulletproof

The Phoenix movement on YT has great jump rope workouts

I found the maintenance a pain. The water requires the addition of chlorine tablets every six months and mine went cloudy anyway. If in direct sunlight it could have issues.

If you are in the UK then Mirafit.co.uk have them, £17.95 for 2. Google mirafit step risers.

My Keiser M3 has been faultless. Built to last. If I was in the market I would look at the Concept erg bike, looks like that will last forever.
-
I’ve tried loads. The winner for me are the Powerbeats pro.

i have had a keiser m3 for 10 years and it has been faultless. Having visible gears on the display is a very useful feature you don't see on most spin bikes. If i had to buy something else then i would look at the Rogue echo if i was into Tabata style workouts. The Concept 2 erg bike also looks very good, they make great…

Stairmaster. nothing else gets my heart rate up so quickly. try walking quickly up a long flight of stairs and see how winded you get.

i like this headlamp as it is ridiculously light: https://www.petzl.com/GB/en/Sport/ACTIVE-headlamps/BINDI I also wear this and no car drivers can miss you at night: https://www.provizsports.com/en-gb/reflect360-mens-running-gilet.html

Nice bit of kit but the cost is reaching iPhone levels. Still tempted though.

the science doesn't back up fasted cardio burning any more fat: https://russhowepti.com/does-fasted-cardio-burn-more-fat/ Personally i hate running at any other time other than early morning with only a coffee inside of me. But I prefer lifting weights in the evening, so whatever works for you.

the wrist heart rate monitors are not as good as chest straps. The flex in the wrist can let light in so for certain exercises such as weight training they aren't as accurate. There are however some new straps you can wear on the upper forearm or bicep which are just as good as the best chest straps. Specifically the polar…

What did you log it as ?

the metal bezel scratches way easier on the Fenix than the 945. Just put a screen protector on it. My 935 Still looks brand new and has taken a lot of knocks.

Wattbike or the Concept2 erg bike would be my choice, both are way over your budget. That or a Concept 2 rower. Up your budget! Everything else for home use will break. These have a proven track record and rock solid after sales service.

Some ideas: you can use a virtual running world if you have a tablet, zwift is currently free and gives you a VR environment to run in. It's a bit of fun. I like running intervals rather than steady state running to alleviate the monotony, you could use a free interval app and create some interval workouts. There are a ton…

Bet you enjoyed eating back those calories :)

you can post a video of yourself rowing on the concept2 forum and get some feedback on your technique.

Those bikes don't get harder to pedal as you increase speed. Plus they don't have the added arm resistance. The assault bike/airdyne's are specifically designed for short, high intensity tabata style workouts. The wattbike is designed to mimic outdoor cycling as closely as possible and is more a tool for keen outdoor…

some video's on the current market options. I want the new Rogue bike! https://youtu.be/RSrKrFmIWQg https://youtu.be/5hEb6OELFR4

Don’t stretch at all. I do foam roll if I am sore after a long run but that is it.

Running shoes are very individual, what works for one person would cause pain for another. Being fitted by a specialist running shoe shop is the best start but even then it’s what feels right, that is the main consideration. To reduce knee pain I would suggest not doing too much running if you are starting out, gradual…

My knees say no.

They gave Jesus a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence. Luke 24:42-43 Even Jesus wasn't a Vegan

A peak of 168 bpm still seems high to me, especially if you aren’t doing a tempo run. Take more walk breaks and don’t push yourself too hard. Some people need a longer, slower transition into distance running, be more patient.

owned several garmins over the years and my latest the 935 is the best yet. when i run with music i use a ipod nano and plantronics backbeat fit.
