  • Well, while you don't "need" one, if you are serious about controlling your weight and not unintentionally eating more or less than what you need, then yes, it's a game-changer. Otherwise, you have to guess, and estimates can be horribly off! Plus, they can indicate whether you aren't pushing enough, or too hard for too…
  • I have an FT60, around $140 on Amazon. It's simple and does the trick! Plus, it motivates me toward a weekly burn target and measures my resting fitness.
  • I usually will eat between 400-600 calories for breakfast. I don't usually eat a big lunch and especially light dinner. My cals are set at 1200, but on average I eat around 1600-1800 due to exercise.
  • Seconded... Insanity is harder than any HIIT I've ever done -- the "on" intervals are 3+ minutes, and the "off" only 30 seconds.
  • I just finished it, and yeah, it's totally rewarding if you stick with it. I am taking a week off from it and might do it a few times a week until I start a P90X/Insanity hybrid program. I'm a 12-time marathoner, and this was a totally new challenge.
  • I'm going in a couple of hours, too! For my best friend's dad...
