well I failed the test and have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes... :-( waiting to hear from hospital on diet and testing blood sugar.

24 week appointment this morning... Only gained 1 lb since last visit. think I'm up 10 lbs. overall. I failed my one hour glucose test so now I have to take the 3 hour. YUCK!! I've had to take it before with two of my other pregnancies.... Hope it goes well.

hi everyone, been a while since I checked in... 23 weeks and 3 days here. no formal workout/exercise plans for me.... going to the grocery store wears ME OUT!! I also have three little ones at home. :-) Just started back logging because I'm gaining too much lately due to bad eating habits.

3/13: 190.4, 3/20:190 (-0.4) 3/27: 191.2 (+1.2) 4/3: 189.8 (-1.4) Total loss: 0.6 lbs. BTW I found out I'm pregnant :-)

Me :-(... My doc doesn't wanting me to gain more than 10 lbs. He even said he was ok to loose weight.

newly pregnant :-) just under 4 weeks. I've already talked to my doctor about my diet. He said he was fine with me loosing weight while pregnant... unfortunately I have a lot to loose. So if I loose a little or don't gain that is good. Baby number 4 :-)

For those interested I have a gluten free baking mix recipe: 2 c. Brown rice flour 2 c. White rice flour 1 1/4 c sweet rice flour 3/4 c millit 2/3 c. Potato starch 6 T baking soda 6 T sugar 1 T salt 1 T xanthum gum Fluffy Pancakes: 1 c. Mix 3/4 c milk 2 T melted butter 1 egg.

Treadmill inline 2, 2 mph for 20 min, 2.5 mph for 20 min... I'm short and out of shape so even though is seems really slow my heart rate was up :-)

Use the tight budget to your advantage... Don't waste money on foods that don't fit into your healthy lifestyle. You might not be able to buy as much but portion control is part of calorie counting. I don't know if you like black beans or not, but you can buy a bag for less than a dollar and cook them yourself to stretch…
