From what I can see your BMR is around 2600, I'd try to stay around/slightly above that number. When you say 6 weeks does that include the time that you tried upping your calories slightly and gained and lost? You need to give changes around 6-8 weeks to take effect, if you started gaining and panicked you've probably not…

Judging from your earlier posts I'd suggest they are too low, especially if your goal is to lose fat and gain muscle, which (apart from newbie gains) isn't really possible on a calorie deficit

The difference of all your weigh-ins today is 1.2lbs, your weight can fluctuate by much more than that over a day, 1.2lbs is negligable (I'd still go with the lower weight though, if the scales say it it must be true  )

My grandfather died when I was 21 and he was 72, I thought he'd got to a good old age, I'm now 33 and realise that he was quite young when he died. My grandma is an old 85 whereas my great aunt is a young 90, I think I go off the person and everyone is different.

OP Neither of your methods of calculation are particularly accurate there are other different factors to consider than the estimates on a website give. A more accurate reading would come from a HRM with chest strap :flowerforyou:

It's a calorie GOAL, it's what you SHOULD be aiming for, not aim to be under that

Yet on your next post you comment on the dangers of yo-yo dieting. MFP, you're doing it wrong :flowerforyou:

My doctor prescribed Norethisterone to stop mine while I was on holiday, they worked until 2 days after I stopped taking them

See a doctor

Weight can and does fluctuate over the day/week, if you're over analysing 1lb maybe you need to step back a bit? Toothache sucks :flowerforyou:

Are you actually serious yourself? Why not? I'm serious about my weight/fat loss, I regularly include McDonalds/Take out food in my day. It hasn't stopped me from losing weight/fat.

18 months to lose 98lbs and 20 weeks of being pregnant to put 10lbs back on

With so little to lose I'd be tempted to say eat at maintenance and concentrate on heavy lifting

Not sure if serious :ohwell: really hope this is a joke :noway: if not I'd cancel your card now, the Raspberry Ketones website states "If you do not cancel, we will charge £ 84.95 on the day your trial period ends to the card you provided at checkout and you will continue with the auto delivery program." The other site…

I read this thinking you were a woman, you're definitely not eating enough for a man, have you worked out your BMR/TDEE? And it's not a race or biggest loser, weight loss doesn't need to be rushed :flowerforyou:

Beat me to it

I'm not aiming for a certain weight, I just want to look better

Wait! You mean instead of mentioning that this bothers you over the 5 years you've been together you've come here to rant to complete strangers?

You missed my point. People are on here for completely different reasons and a lot of them do go by the scale, it's OK saying "the sooner anyone learns to be realistic, the better it works at being happy in the long term." This could apply to all the 1200 and below calorie eaters who are adamant that their way is the only…
