Yeah, my husband "upgraded" from the S2 to the iphone 5 and he HATES it, he's going straight back to the S4 as soon as he can

Are you getting enough calories? I see you're maintaining and based on your stats you should be eating between 1760 and 2433 calories depending on your activity level (And I'd say most people fall into a higher activity level than they think, no-one's truly sedentary) Go to: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/…

I'm taking you do regular cardio and strength training? With only 30lb to go I would think TDEE - 15% is a healthier way to lose and taking your exercise into account http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ suggests 2008 calories a day  ETA:Your BMR is 1524

He sounds very shallow, my husband has never said that to me in all the time we've been together and there's a 92lb weight difference for me. He's always loved me for me and we've never not been sexually attracted to each other. Maybe you need to find someone who's not such a jerk? :flowerforyou:
-
Yes it definitely works for me. To be honest your 1400 still sounds very low especially with 30lb still to lose, I'm around the same and losing steadily on 1800 without exercise :flowerforyou:

OMG! NO, just no!

To be fair today's posts have probably made more sense than they usually do :flowerforyou:

Dry food, wet food, it's all processed, have you thought about cleaning up her diet, maybe kitty paleo

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_meat Kill two birds with one stone, the cats leave you alone and you get more protein :glasses:
-
Really? You could say that about ANY meat product. Get a grip!

I don't do "cheat days" I'm not on a diet, I eat what I want when I want, and don't cut out any food so a bit of chocolate today isn't a big deal, hasn't done my weight loss any harm :flowerforyou:

Above poster didn't mention photoshop, they mentioned 5'10" and 115lb women, therefore bashing the models themselves. You can't photoshop a live fashion show, those women are "real" too

It's not necessary to go low carb, your doctor probably has minimum nutritional training and doesn't know what they are talking about, like the time mine suggested an 800 cal a day diet. You don't need to cut out food groups, just eat healthily and with in your macros and the weight will come off. Start to eat right and…

You must be new here :flowerforyou:
-
^^is not necessary, it's cals in vs cals out, it doesn't matter when they are consumed over the week
-
I sometimes add a couple of scoops to my protein shake when I'm under calories and not hungry. I can't imagine they would keep me satisfied as a meal replacement :flowerforyou:
-
I'd say 1800 calories is still pretty limited for a man. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ suggests between 2016 and 2471 depending on the intensity of your workouts. Also you HAVE lost weight so technically not a plateau (especially when you've only given it one month) :flowerforyou:

Raisins, crunchy peanut butter and Total Greek yogurt (extra protein!)

Did you read ANY of the replies you got? I'm 5ft 5 and losing weight on 1800, see my ticker, it works. Most people come here thinking they need to eat less to lose weight, then after a few weeks they post to say they are not losing like they want, and eventually listen to advice and up their calories and see the weight…

According to http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ your BMR is 3061, At your weight you can afford to go under this but definitely NOT by as much as you have been doing. 2755 cals a day would give you a 25% TDEE cut and should be sufficient to see a very steady weight loss whilst also giving your body enough…

I started at 272 and the most I lost in the first week of a diet was 15lb but yes, it' was probably water weight
-
My MFP friends are real life friends, it's not a game
-
Don't blindly follow MFP recommendations. BMR/TDEE calculations are your friend
-
I'm 5ft5 and 182 and am losing around 2lb per week eating 1800, my BMR is 1591 and my TDEE is around 2187. With only 40lbs to go you're better off setting your weight loss to 0.5 - 1lb per week. Don't forget that when MFP gives you 1200 calories they are expecting you to exercise and eat back those calories too Have you…

My workouts are age appropriate, for a 30-something who's lazy :drinker:
-
Definitely not your problem, I don't care if it's your partner and they are "depressed" no-one should hold you back. My husband lost his father 2 weeks ago, he's been off work and we've had to arrange and hold a funeral and he's NEVER asked me not to stick with my usual routine, obviously I've been there for him and made…

If she's an ex he should be too, they both did the same thing wrong to you
-
well done
-
You chose that as your first post? Seriously? Looks like troll, smells like troll, TROLL! OP, thank you for sharing your story, I agree with the majority that this should be "stickied"
-
Yeah, I was thinking that, but you do seem to like stalking the cleanse threads, doesn't matter that EVERY person you come across pretty much shoots you down with science, you just don't give up, do you :flowerforyou:
