  • You can definitely do this!! I'm also doing it with very little exercise right now since I'm so heavy it's hard on my knees. My plan is to lose about 60 lbs strictly through calorie restriction, then start exercising to build strength and endurance. I'm eating between 1200 and 1400 calories per day and have been losing a…
  • I'm 5'5", weigh 218 and am a size 20. I always have to wear a belt with my jeans because in order for them to fit my legs and hips, the waist has to be too big.

  • I recently started an 16:8 plan and I love it! I was already restricting to between 1200 and 1400 calories a day for weight loss and that hasn't changed. But since I started I have so much more energy and it's much easier to stay within my calorie range.
  • Yeah, those 8000 calories are undoing a lot of your hard work from the rest of the week. I don't do cheat days, they completely throw me off track, but if you want to keep your cheat day, you could limit yourself to something like 2000 calories (depending on what your normal daily intake is). Good luck!
  • Honestly, if I don't maintain total control, I will completely lose control. So, yes, I think I'll be counting calories for the rest of my life if I want to keep the weight off.

  • This was great! And something that I can easily work into my day a few times. Complete!
  • I'm doing the 16/8 plan too and I love it! I feel so good and have so much more energy! I also limit my calorie intake during my eating window to between 1200 and 1400.
  • I started with wii fit plus but it quickly became too easy. It did a lot to help me get started though. Now I do Exerbeat and I absolutely love it! It's fun, challenging and keeps my heart rate up. It's not all I do though. I also do strength training three times a week.
  • Sounds awesome. Maybe add some veggie broth for soups.
