Yes, this. and also, whatever you get, if you are D cup or larger, do not buy a sports bra sized by just M, L, etc. get one that has actual normal bra sizing for more support. I have a shock absorber one i love, also a champion and a moving comfort. The moving comfort is my least favorite of the three. I also wore a nice…

is it possible, especially if they are new to MFP that they dont even realize everything is set to private? i have come across so many that didnt know their diary wasnt open to friends or how to change it so that it wasnt private. When i signed up i had no clue just how social MFP was, so the idea of writing a bunch in my…

This. I was at 1200 for a few months and did great, then stalled out. Change your settings to lose 1lb or even .5lb a week, eat more. If you are ready to get more technical, there are other things to look up as well, such as TDEE, BMR, Eat more to lose weight, etc. (Have a search in the forums) But the bottom line is, if…

it depends. It really depends on your age, your skin elasticity, your size, your body. I have only had one pregnancy but i got really really big in the belly (on a short 5'1" frame) and i have so many stretch marks that my belly is like a topgraphical map, no joke! I have a great deal of loose skin and while i am sure it…

in November, i quit my diet dr pepper. It was tough! lol I was drinking it from the time i got out of bed until bedtime each day ,every day. I drank nothing else....ever! Week one, i went to 1 planned soda a day, and for headaches in between, i would use excedrin (some caffeine as well as Tylenol and aspirin) and if i…

I am not sure if they exist either, because most companies would want to sell to a wider variety of people who dont have access to the equipment. Have you tried using a no contact DVD, but with your bag? might work!

i think people would only think you peed your pants if that was the only part of you that was wet! If you are in a gym, your hair and face are sweaty, your shirt looks a little wet, etc, then no worries. Otherwise black pants can minimize it, or loose running shorts with a pair of tight/compression shorts underneath, just…

I did one on May. I did a variety of fitness classes and running as my training, but it wasnt anything formal. Check out this link for some help too: http://www.menshealth.com/fitness/mud-run-training Or look up tough mudder, spartan sprint, etc and some of those bigger name races have training plans on their websites

THIS is so my husband too! I hear ya! Except, he will say things like "A 5k is easy ot run, i did that all the time in the Army" ......um yeah, he did. Like 15 years ago! lol He is not overweight, he is a thin eat whatever he wants kind of guy, but a smoker who has no interest in working out. He also had bets about how…

ive done it, yup! The best thing for me is to have a solid plan ahead of time, and then i dont have to make it 5000 or 10000 more times :) thanks for the share!

ahh! Thanks. I guess that makes me nervous, as it does so many in this group to start. I felt like i was increasing a ton when i went up to 1800 and then i was sort of overeating on weekends so i went down a bit on my daily goal, 2000 seems high but i guess its worth a shot at this point! I am ready for some changes…

just thought i would chime in that i also use Ideal Shape shakes and love them! i add more to them to make it a more substantial meal (my favorite is the chocolate with unsweetened almond milk, peanut butter and a bit of sugar free butterscotch pudding mix YUM!) I used to use them several times a day and as i learned…

This. Let them know, and they will walk you to the next place to sit and keep an eye on you. This happened to my sister in law twice, but she donates regularly and all the other times, has had no problems. I guess it just happens sometimes. Oh, and i am O- also. I need to find a blood drive and donate again too. :)

Yes, somewhat. Weekends have been busy and hectic, camping, not home a lot, etc and logging has been tough. Also eating at BBQs where i may have a bite of this, a little spoon of that ,etc. I would guess that yes, i have been over my calories on weekends a bit, though only for the last 3 weeks. My plateau has been since…

Ahh, thanks for clarifying, this is very helpful. I will keep that all in mind when i do get to a lower BF%. Currently i am 31.5-32%. The hormone stuff makes sense!! Any advice on what my calorie intake should be, given my numbers listed above?

Thanks for your reply. I guess i have been being conservative because, while i do some strength training, i am not following NROLFW or anything at that level, and my cardio burns are not real high ( i have friends who regularly post burns 600-1300 range)
