I eat somewhat on a schedule +/- a couple of hours. And some days I am more hungry than others so I might eat more often and more quantity on those days. A day I am less hungry, I might eat a meal an hour later and it will be less quantity or more of a snack than a meal.

Let me know how you like it, eventually I want to try it. I think I just never saw psyllium husk powder anywhere and haven't taken the time to search it out.

A friend gave me a recipe once and she makes toast, but I never tried it. I will see if I can find it.

I put in on straight though I had read to make a partial solution. There was some slight stinging, but no more than soap or cream or anything else is in those circumstances, then gone.

Interesting. I didn't get to the drug store for the Monistat, and it wasn't feeling so bad yet that I felt like I had to really make extra effort to get there. But you know how that goes, it's fine then at night it drives you crazy. So I topically wiped down the area with ACV and that tremendously cut down the discomfort…

In other probably related news, hot flashes seem to be wild the last few days. Google candida and hot flashes and bingo there too. *sigh*

I use Mio or a similar type store brand.

A couple of tablespoons in a glass of water tastes like a light wine, really. But you could also probably add it to other things to disguise it, tea maybe?

I wonder if a holistic doctor would be better for tracking down the root cause rather than a dermatologist?
-
Hi Connie! I also found LC by accident when my significant other was advised to do Atkins by his doctor. And boy was I surprised when all kinds of things changed for the better for me too.
-
I have also noticed that it coincides with sugar more than the fats for me. Are you eating sugars that might be the cause? It used to be that I could not eat pepperoni or sausage at night without being up in the middle of the night with heartburn, and it was even getting to the point that hamburger would do it too. But now…

^ I like this. My goal is to work out 2-3x per week.

I'm down a pound since yesterday, water weight, and I've been peeing like crazy this morning, so hopefully I will be back to normal in another day. Darn, I forgot to grab some bouillon to keep the blahs away. Hmm, well, I can get one of those ramen cups out of the vending machine and just drink the juice and throw away the…

It works on Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7. Now there is an extra vote for "private" because I wanted to be sure the voting worked, not just that I could see it. I think it uses javascript though so you have to have that enabled in the browser you are using, or perhaps it has to be an up to date version of javascript to…

The last time I weighed what I weigh now (about 9 years ago) it was my lowest pants size. Now after low carbing for 7 months, those are loose and I may end up having to go another size down. My waist measurement is smaller than it was then, I am pretty sure it hasn't been this small in something like 25 years.

Awesome motivation for sticking to the plan in the first place. lol!

Was the reason he said that because you had lost more one week than projected? That happens sometimes. With 40-50 pounds still to lose, I don't think you have to worry about it. Is this trainer familiar with keto? I don't think his theory is valid with keto, though I think it happens frequently with SAD (standard American…

It really does work! p.s. - I have a black cat too.

Yeah, I overindulged over the holiday. Wine, chocolate, carbs. The day after Christmas I felt awful with low energy. Then Sunday I had another Christmas with another part of the family, more wine and carbs. Today I have dark and puffy circles under my eyes. I'm like, "why do I look like I have been crying for days?" and…

Is he getting enough fat for satiety? Maybe he needs to eat more for meals than he has been eating?
-
I have used almond flour and/or parm cheese where it calls for breadcrumbs.

I bought the e-book this afternoon, I'm going to check it out. I need something else I can do at home that doesn't take forever.

After about a week, you will be putting him on a bulking diet to keep up with your strength progression needs.

Wait, how much does the 4 year old weigh? Can you put belts around his body at the arms and legs and use him as a barbell? ;)

Oh, whew. I wasn't sure. lol. We have an optional biometric screening at work, but they pay us a bonus to do it. Then if you have risk areas they offer programs you can do to help for weight loss or quitting smoking, etc.

A couple of times a week we make a low carb chocolate milkshake. This usually satisfies the sweet tooth. We have tried some low carb recipes for baked desserts but somehow the consistency seems off or something and it's not like the real thing. The shake is closer to the real thing and is easy to just whip up in the…

BMI can be skewed (for example if you have a higher muscle mass) and it doesn't necessarily mean you are not healthy, especially only 3-5 pounds over. I wouldn't make a special trip to see my doctor over that.

I use stevia or splenda. Our go to dessert is "milkshakes": Ice, 8 ounces HWC, 8 ounces unsweetened almond milk, cocoa powder, sugar free choc. syrup, a little stevia. Blend. Or instead of chocolate we have made them with vanilla extract or Mio flavoring.

I bought the book in Feb. 2013 and it was the version published in 2007. Maybe other people disagree that this is a lot of accessory work, but this is what it has for Stage 3. Plus, being 50+, the lunge jumps and squat jumps were a bit high impact on the knees and stuff. Workout A One armed dumbbell snatch Dumbbell single…
