I would love to be friends. We are all in this together and the more support we can provide for each other the better off we all are. You can do this!

I chop it up and mix in a bit of yellow corn meal in a bowl. Then add about 1.5-2 tblsp of extra virgin olive oil to a pan and heat for a few minutes. Then you add the okra with the mixed in corn meal and fry until it is done enough for you. The olive oil is good fats and if you don't add too much corn meal (just enough to…

I recommend a book called "When Food is Love" and/or "Women, Food & God" both by Geneen Roth. They are amazing and have completely changed the way I look at and relate to food. Best of luck on your journey, you CAN do this, and we are all here to help each other!!

As far as the Pilates I have a Mari Windsor Pilates video for beginners and love it. But I am sure that most of them are the same. Good luck!!

Good for you!! That is very inspiring!!

I highly recommend any Pilates videos (beginner to start). It is all about strengthening the core and there is no jumping around involved!

A good rule for low carb is about 30-35 carbs per meal max and 15 carbs per snack max. I aslo usually try to stay under 45 grams of fat per day and it seems to help. Just eat a lot more fiber and watch out for sugars as well because that just turns into fats. Good luck!!

Try not to get too discouraged. I totally understand where you are coming from, I am there myself. Sometimes your body just does some adjusting and you plateau for a little while and then it picks up again. Just keep doing what you are doing and maybe change up your diet and exercise a little bit to jump start things…

Here is some advice I found helpful from Jillian Michaels' newsletter... You should NOT skip meals. There are so many adverse effects to skipping meals. Not only does it slow your metabolism but it can also lead to overeating, because when you do eat, you're overly hungry. As for cutting your calories below your…

I just completed the Jillian Michael's 7 day Cleanse & Detox and it seemed to work well for me. I lost 3 pounds that week of water weight and other junk and just feel lighter and cleaner on the inside. Plus it come with a 7 day probiotic replenishment which is what you need after a detox. I recommend it.

I am also a DDD and I use a sports bra over a regular one as well and it really helps. I ride horses and it provides a lot of support.

You bet! It came at the perfect time for me too!

In my opinion, if you are trying to get healthier and lost weight you are in the process of changing your lifestyle. If you have one day that you look forward to simply because you get to eat whatever you want then that is like hanging onto the past lifestyle instead of moving forward. It's not good to deprive yourself…
