no....I think this is inaccurate. I find that sometimes my hrm will be wonky and if it is acting up at all it is especially wonky when my arms are over head or I am upside down....not always but it happens...when my HRM is being wonky it can read 228 even when it should read 75

I think 1000 miles is a great goal. I have three 1/2 marathons, a 10K and 5K race (both races) 10 K for me and the 5 K with my kids and a few other 5K's with the kiddos. it could be the 4% incline...I have heard that .5% to 1 % inline is comprable to running on flat ground outside. Unless you are running hills when you are running outside, your incline might be such that your pace is tough. I can fly on a treadmill and it helps me work on my speed for outside.

Oh...I have learned with my Garmin...I burn about 90-93 calories per mile..I think I might be shorter than you and you are a bit faster but we are about the same running wise. I think others like us burn between 85-95 cals per mile so compare that to the MFP burns and see how it compares...might help you figure your math.
