  • I love Bill Phillips! My husband and I have attempted BFL several times. We never follow through with the workouts because we are lazy. The food plan is awesome. I highly reccommend his cookbook Eating For Life. He has a new program out now called Transformation. There is a book and an awesome website. Transformation…
  • I agree. To quote one of my favorite books Half-A**ed by Jenette Fulgda (I think that's her name): "Diets are like religions. Everyone thinks their's is right." Be gentle and constructive when giving advice.
  • Those green bags never seem to work for me. Tupperware has some awesome fridge made produce holder thingys (I'm sure that is the exact name!) that are expensive but really good. And they last forever! I find that anything in the citrus family lasts a long time. Apples do too, but not as long as citrus. You could also try…
  • I think fish is also a good source. My doctor stressed to me that is super important to get lots of potassium when you're working out.

  • Just adding another source to the convo....Dr. Oz says any liquid that is calorie free and decaf counts as water. I love that man!
  • Wow! You are such a hottie!
  • Yeah, I don't know how people eat the plain stuff. You either HAVE to add some fruit or granola or honey or something. Bu the flavored ones are yummmy! Try one of those before you swear it off!
  • I ordered mine a week ago....It's been in Maryland for THREE days! I am in Georgia. What is taking so long??!! I am ready to get started!
  • I love salads! Here is my fave: Baby Spring Mix Red Onion Pecans (sometimes I pan toast them with cinnamon and brown sugar) strawberries mandarin oranges Organic rasberry vinaigrette Sometimes I add chicken, blueberries, and/or avocado
  • Ummm, edamame is so good! Here is my favorite soup recipe. It is soooo easy, yummy, and healthy! 1. 3 cans of any kind of bean-black, red, pinto, kidney...use a variety. (rinse them to get rid of salt). You could also use dried beans and cook them beforehand. 2. 1 can of corn (again, rinse) 3. 2 cans of diced tomatoes (get…
  • Great post! And your picture is beautiful! Anyway, I have learned (after getting back on the wagon two weeks ago) that I get full quicker and STAY full longer if I eat no processed foods. My cravings have significantly decreased and it is easier to stay at my calorie goal if I eat whole, natural foods. I don't know that I…
  • I tried spinning once....my hoo-ha was numb for days. My husband was seriously worried! Then I found out about these special padded panties they make. Maybe look into those as well as the suggestions already mentioned!
  • I don't care what kind of ads are on here, so long as it stays free!
  • The wild salmon was soooo good. It's only available for a few months out of the year though. The roasted beets were seriously probably the best vegetables I have ever had. I think they were golden beets? My friend also said the steak was delicious. It's high qualitty, fresh food, so I don't think you can go wrong!
  • It was very nice...great ambiance. Prices ranged from $10-$26. I got the wild caught salmon which was the most expensive thing...$26. Worth every penny! My friend got the regular grilled salmon and it was $14 I think.
  • White gravy is a southern delicacy made from cream, milk, and fat drippings (such as from frying sausage or chicken.) My grandmother made the best in the world! Definitely not health friendly food!
  • According to their website and the waiter, everything is under 475. The portions were small compared to other restaurants, but not compared to what is acceptable/normal. It was the first time in a long time I didn't leave a restaurant feeling sick from being so full! They grill or roast everything, so no need for butter or…
  • I am going to the midnight show as well! We have a groups of 10 going. We're eating at Ruby Tuesday before. I have no idea what to order.....
  • Lioness, So sorry that you are going through this. At least now you have some answers, and hopefully, some solutions. I am a firm believer that chemicals are killing us. Keep us posted!
  • I love this post! I have such a weird combination of stuff I love right now! Anything by Black Eyed Peas/Fergie, Rhiana, Beyonce, or Pink Britney Spears-Womanizer, Circus, Toxic Big and Rich-Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy, Comin' to Your City Mirana Lambert-Gunpowder and Lead Brooks and Dunn-Hillbilly Deluxe Any of Carrie…
  • Wow! Thanks for sharing all of this great info! I never knew much of this! We will definitely switch to wild!
  • Greek yogurt is so yummy! Basically, it's "strained" more than regular yogurt. You could take plain, regular yogurt, strain it through a cheese cloth or sieve, and you'd have greek yogurt. Straining it gives you more protein. Definitely read the labels though. Don't get one with added sugars. I LOVE the organic Stoney…
  • You're kidding? She pooped on the side of the road?? How does that happen? Isn't it illegal? You people are not making me want to become a runner!
  • What a hottie you are! Way to go!
  • OK, That is AMAZING, but don't stop there! Tell us more! What's your story? I
  • That's so funny! I am the exact opposite. I get all motivated at summer break, drop 20 pounds or so, and then gain it all back plus some once school starts back! Here is what helps me during the summer: Chew gum Keep my hands busy-surf the net. craft, scrapbook, play games with my parents (they're retired), walk the dog,…
  • I love this book! I've read it three times, and it has totally changed our lifestyle. For the first time ever, I care about getting healthy rather than getting thin. Surprisingly, that is a much better motivation! :) I am not weighing myself, but I did fit into a pair of jeans yesterday that I haven't been able to wear for…
  • I agree with you! No artificial sweetners! I was freaking out to by the amount of calories and sugar the creamers were adding. Then I discovered that just some milk and two teaspoons of real sugar had far less calories and grams of sugar than the processed stuff. It took a couple of days to get used to, but it's real…
  • Spaghetti squash is sooo yummy! But what the heck is a sweet potato tuna melt? Yuck!
  • Yes, I used to do it a lot. It was hard and awkward at first but it gets much easier. And I did tone up quite a bit. Wish I had never quit!
