  • THIS IS AMAZING!!!! Thanks so much for the insight! I'm eating about 1500 a day, depending on my exercise. My setting is for 1200 a day, but when I work out I don't use a HRM so I'm not sure if either a) I'm burning less calories or b) I'm burning more. I have had an inclination that I'm not eating enough food, so it's…
  • Hahaha…well when you put it that way….LOL My thoughts were all over the place trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. YES to clean, whole, natural foods. And YAY to not cutting out fruit. I love how I'm eating now and I feel healthier without the dairy and gluten and preservatives. I'm going to pay closer attention to…
  • You're awesome! This was the post that made me feel better! Thanks so much!
  • Yes, counting calories is something I do meticulously every day…obviously if I'm using MFP. But good point. My goal that was given to me is 1200 calories per day, and I usually burn about 300 minimum so I eat that back in food. Perhaps I stop being so hooked up on the numbers and pay attention to when I'm actually hungry?…
  • Thanks for this. My diary is public to my friends. And I log every little thing meticulously. I'm obsessed with logging to ensure I stay on track. I eat quinoa about once a week, but maybe I'll ramp it up. It's a great option…I'll try to get more of it. Thanks!
  • Thanks for this. Should I manually adjust MFP settings? I'm set to 1200 calories a day (I eat more when I burn more). Do I need to adjust my calorie intake too? I can go in and try to adjust the settings. Perhaps more info on the 40% 30% 30% idea?
  • Thanks so much for this! About 7 years ago I got in the best shape I've been in, and I did it with a system like you're talking about. I did cardio kickboxing twice a week, circuit training 3/4 times a week, and included some cardio. Why did I ever stop? Moving forward… I really want to keep my pilates, but that only…
  • You are totally on the right track! Habits take TIME to change, and the biggest sabotage we do to ourselves is get down about a lack of progress and then we crash and burn. Keep your confidence HIGH throughout all of these changes by making small changes, and being consistent with them. Also, reflect every day about the…
  • I do Pilates twice a week, plus another group class once a week. I also walk to and from work almost everyday. BUT I know for a fact that I NEED to start taking weight training seriously. WIthout doing that and some regular cardio I will not get the results of being toned and sleek with a round booty that I want. I'm going…
  • Sounds awesome! Have you created the group yet? Can't wait to have an awesome group of people for accountability!
  • I would love to be a part of this!!!! Anyone who would like to add me as a friend go for it!!!
  • Bartending is a very strenuous job. I was a server for many years, and I know for a fact it kept me in amazing shape. If you are tracking your heart rate, and are constantly moving I would say to make sure you have enough calories a day or it could be dangerous for your energy levels. Cooking is a little different in terms…
