I also agree with it being accurate.

Love mine. I have had one for a few years now. No issues with the newest model LINK. I had the previous 3 versions as well.

The heel of my shoe is damaged....but my foot/calve is not any bigger than my other!!

..and on the flip side the person who always ran outside would find it just as difficult to run on the treadmill if they switched places. I know this for a fact….from personal experience. Not from GOOGLE or a survey. Anytime you switch from your regular routine you will struggle until you adapt. The OP was asking about…

Exactly.... thank you.

WOW TO THIS!! ^^ I'm sure many would disagree!!! THIS joker right here challenges you to a treadmill run...we will see who steps off first. Then we can see who is more fit.
-
THIS^ and I’ll add… I run 50/50 inside vs. outside. You will work your hamstrings more outdoors because indoors the belt is moving with you. But other than that….running is running. Your calorie burn is the same. I wear a bodymedia device and my numbers are the same. There are advantages to both. Treadmill saves some wear…

BINGO.... I have a low BF..I see my abs....but I do not train them directly. I want these results ^^ So according to your experience and mine you are limited with your results if you do not train them directly. Anyone else’s results support this theory or not?

THIS!!!^^^^^^^^^^^ 100%%% in with this post!!!!! FAT=Bulky :noway: This applies to most of the females complaining on this thread. With exception of the OP.

O man I missed all of this good stuff in this LONG thread…. ME=Lots of cardio and lifting heavy weight. Ran a marathon less than a year ago…entered a powerlifting competition for this November. Do what works for YOU. . I am living proof that a FEMALE can do LOTS of cardio and not lose muscle. Diet is the key to success.

WOW...I browsed through this thread and I didn’t see a lot of bulky bodybuilder figured females...I see fat females. There is a huge difference. OP: You are very lean. Muscle will be more noticeable on your frame. Whether or not you think that looks “bulky” is a matter of opinion. I happen to think that is beautiful on a…

Don’t think of it as a long program. It is not something that should have a “finish” line. Make it your lifestyle. Setting realistic goals will keep you motivated. Track your progress. Hold yourself accountable. ….and buy yourself some cute gym clothes ;) that always motivates me! Starting something new is always scary but…

I read about black toenails happening to a lot of people. I’ve had a few sore toenails after 16+ mile runs and one partial black after a 26 mile run. I usually only wear shoes for 300 miles before replacing and my toes have plenty of wiggle room. Good luck! Sounds painful.

Thats it i'm starting to log chewing gum now. ....:noway:
-
I’ve seen people log chewing gum. I’m not sure what the reason would be…however vitamins and other none calorie items with nutritional value makes sense. I do not just use MFP to track calories. I track nutrition and workouts. I’m sure horseback riding burns a lot of calories… (for whoever thought that was ridiculous). To…

Sounds like your heart is telling to not do it. I would listen to it. You know your body better than anyone else. The "standard" rules are a good guide but everyone is unique. Your personal limits might be higher or lower. You will be the best judge of your abilities.

This and sprints.

source:wikipedia.org Long-distance running, or endurance running, is a form of continuous running over distances of at least five kilometres (3.1 miles).

I run long distances and I lift. I struggled with fat gain while training for my marathon. I feel like that was related to all the sugar I ate tho.... My body feels best when it is fueled by sugar so that is what I did. I did NOT have muscle loss I continued to make gains in the gym. I LOVE to lift heavy. My 1 rep max…

The choice is ours. However here is some info that might help you decide if it fits in with your goals: http://www.endalldisease.com/mcdonalds-fast-food-toxic-ingredients-include-putty-and-cosmetic-petrochemicals/ from article: "Well despite the illusion of a gradual switch to a healthier menu containing salads and…
