  • I'm right there with you. I really want to be a runner, but I just don't find it enjoyable. I am currently doing C25K and I love it. Granted, I'm only on my first week. I have learned that I was running too quickly. I am easing into it by jogging at 5.2-5.5mph. I'm slow, but I enjoy it a lot more now.
  • No suggestions here, just wanted to say great job! I would have died on the elliptical for an hour my first time at the gym. Keep going! I personally love the leg press..makes me feel strong.
  • I use weights. I started w/ 8 pounders thinking I was a beast,...Jillian knocked me down real quick. I'm using 3's right now, hoping to move up to 5's soon. Edited to add: I do still use my 8's for the chest flies and some of the easier moves, but mostly 3's.
  • I'm on day 6 level 1. I've been using Comcast on demand to do them because my dvd hasn't come in yet  . But comcast decided to take level one off. I decided to write down all the exercises from level 1 and run the level 2 dvd for timing. I did the level one moves while they did the level 2. I'm no where near ready…
  • Mmm, that sounds delicious!
  • I agree, you have to drink water. I put about a tbsp of lemon juice in a 64oz container of water. It really helps the flavor and I'm able to get 128oz a day down without a problem. Just do it.
  • Yay! Great job! I am a diet coke addict. I am in love with the stuff. I've also cut it down to one (or two :blushing: ) a day and I'm finding that it's losing it's appeal to me. I can normally down a can in less than 5-10 minutes but I popped one open last night, and 2 1/2 hours later I had about half gone and then…
  • I'm on week 1 day 5. I'm noticing it's not near as difficult now. I still can't do regular pushups unfortunately. I'm trying to follow Anita more now (when she's not cheating  ). Good luck! Stick with it. It's hard at first, but it will get easier. I'm so ready for level 2, but am going to finish out level 1.
  • I either listen to music or watch biggest loser on netflix (nothing get's my butt moving more than Jillian screaming)
  • Because I've been doing really well and I feel like I ate way too much. Like I said in a previous post, I really hate the "full feeling". Eating the heavier meals like pot roast makes me feel gross. When I eat chicken, rice and veggies I feel fabulous.
  • That's exactly how I feel! I hate that full feeling. I am trying to learn how to feel satisfied, but not get to the point of being over full. Tomorrow is a new day! Thanks for the support, I am feeling better already. Trying to resist the urge to jump on the treadmill since I've already done the 30 day shred and C25K…
  • Technically I still am, but like I said, I don't know how accurate the calories for my dinner are. :ohwell:
  • So is maybe 100 oz more realistic?

  • I completely agree with this. I feel best when I'm getting at least 120oz per day.

  • Maybe 10? But I don't think I'm doing them right because I don't get as low as I should. My wrists start to ache after about 4 of them
  • Perfect! Thank you!

  • Well I guess I should take a rest day. I already did 30ds today, so I guess I'll wait until tomorrow for my rest day. I just notice I feel 10000 times better after a good cardio workout. My attitude is better, I have more energy etc. Plus, I can never seem to stay under my calorie goal of 1,200 calories on my rest day. I'm…
  • Lol, I know it's not a rest. I was in such a crappy mood that I knew I needed to take a walk or do something physical. I understand what you're saying though. Thank you for your reply!
  • Love my diet coke. I used to drink a 2 liter per day now I'm down to one 12oz can a day. I will never give up my diet coke.
  • ^^ This. I try so hard to like fish, but I just cannot stand the taste of it. I do like tuna salad though.
  • I'm doing ok with most of it, but it is intense!!! The burpees and the 180 jumps are killing me!! I'll admit, when she said to go to the floor for one circuit I thought "Oh, thank goodness, some relief!" Yea....the floor exercises are the WORST!
  • Yep, I've been doing it for 2 days now along with the 30ds. Does anyone else have trouble with the burpees and 180 jumps? I've been modifying both so I can even make it through the whole workout. I've been doing 90degree jumps and going slower on the burpees. I absolutely LOVE the kickboxing stuff! Good luck! Stick with…
  • Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. Tomorrow is suppose to be my rest day, but I may try to run outside a bit and just see how different it feels. IDK why I want to run so bad, I think the idea that I really don't need any equipment appeals to me. I like the idea of throwing on my shoes, heading out the door and…
  • I have a great playlist that I only allow myself to listen to when I'm running which helps. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but when it get's tough during my running segments, I imagine myself running a marathon and about to cross the finish line lol. It always get's me moving quicker.
  • I have 2 little ones so carving out an hour to two hours at any one point during the day is just unrealistic with our schedule. I get up at 6:30, do the 30 day shred. Then after dinner I either do another Jillian michaels DVD or the c25k program.
  • Thank you! I do feel exhausted after my workouts, especially the JM metabolism video.
  • Boredom and stress. As a mom I find that on the days my kids are acting up or my toddler just doesn't want to take a nap, I overeat. When I put them down for nap, instead of exercising or doing chores, I flop my butt on the couch w/ a bag of potato chips and binge. I always feel bad afterwards, but while I'm eating it's so…
