Yes, I am frustrated because I asked a straight question and received nutritional advice as an answer. I'm not looking for nutritional advice. I'm trying to understand why the system is babysitting me and establishing a minimum based on people who are bigger than me. I have similar issues with the bike share service in my…

The problem here lies on the fact that there's nothing wrong with wanting to lose up to 1lb a week, and I just want to lose 0.7/week (which accounts for approximately 300g). THAT'S PERFECTLY HEALTHY. So why people are insisting that I should lose 100-200g a week is beyond my understanding. I'm not trying to force any of…

I recently got a BF assessment and I was told I am at 24% BF. Am I allowed to lose weight, even if it's within my healthy range? I'm using a 25% calorie restriction. That's where I got my data from. BMR = 1221 TDEE = 1465 Daily calories based on goal in step 6 = 1098 A 10% caloric restriction would lead me to lose 100g a…

I'm 50kg and I'm targeting 43kg. My healthy weight ranges from 54kg to 40kg, I used to be 43kg and it was GREAT. I was super healthy and have never looked better. The women you know who are 5' or under who lost weight on a 2000kcal diet are likely running/cycling/swimming at least one hour a day every single day of the…

According to the calculator that was posted here, my daily caloric intake to lose 0.7lb or 300g/week (which I have done before and had no problems following at all) would be 1080, considering my current weight and activity level - which is still 120 calories under MFP's recommendation. If I want to lose 1lb/week at the…

I learned I could make a mug cake with the pancake mix! It works and it's great with coffee! Another to add to favourites list <3 I add the chocolate pancake mix to 80ml of water and blend, pour into a teacup and microwave for about 40sec. Enjoy!

"When burning fat you are releasing toxins back into your body that were stored in the body fat" do you have sources to back up this claim? As for the time it took for her to develop a reaction to a product, someone can develop intolerance (not allergy) to something over a long period of time. Sometimes it takes years. If…

I don't normally eat rice or noodles, just 1 piece of protein + 1 cup of veggies for lunch, or a small sashimi set. Hence the trouble eating *more* than I'm used to. I don't have breakfast too. Only coffee. And I drink *lots* of coffee and tea through the day! :) It's... it's a change. I feel it would be easier if I had…

I've found it! thanks! Great stuff!

Hey rita, fantastic weight loss and thanks for the tip! I have some cans of salmon and tuna here and I have to try it! Yesterday I grilled some chicken breast, added sauerkraut and mixed with mustard, it tasted so good and oktoberfest-like! As for day 2, I am still having issues eating 2 cups of veggies + lettuce with all…

So, can you eat the meat during other meals? My coach said I couldn't. It's very complicated for me to eat meat for dinner, but easier for lunch. I'm not a dinner person.

I am, how do I check your blog?

Thank you very much for your reply. Days 3 and 4 I will be at the office, let's see how I feel! I've just had the Cappuccino and a cup of coffee, I should have blended them together for a mocha.

Thanks for the tips. I don't plan on cheating. Cheating is what lead me to gaining the weight I've lost in the past. I've told my husband I'm sticking to the diet for how long it takes until I lose those extra pounds, even if it means avoiding social events. I don't care about being social if I am going to be sad right…

TDDE 1465. Exciting. I need to jump to "Heavy exercise" to be able to spend 2000kcal a day.

If I follow any BMR calculator I get something like this There are a few different methods to calculating yourbasal metabolic rate (BMR). One of the most popular, developed in the early 1900's is called the Harris-Benedict formula. Based on this formula, your current BMR is 1221 calories. Now what? What do you people…
