Salads, curry, chili, veggies and quinoa, potatoes, leftovers of any kind, veggies and hummus, fruit, lots of different things. I don't do meat, dairy, or any grains, but if you do, you could throw in pasta, meats, tuna, rice, etc. as well. Sandwiches are so boring anyway! Take a look at some international dishes,…

Underweight. LOL. Thanks for the compliment!

Well I don't eat meat either, so . . . actually no! I love to eat and I like to cook and if I can't eat something, I'll come up with another way to make it. International cuisines are great, a lot more focus on real ingredients instead of processed. As for Tony Romas, check their menu online, and then call the chef to see…

Any chance you are celiac?

You can do it! What do you need help with? Lots of fruits, veggies, beans, nuts, seeds, clean meats if you eat it. There's still lots you can eat. I am not soy free, but I am vegetarian, grain-free, dairy-free, with some allergies. Tell us what you need.

20 minutes - bathroom, brush, change into running shirt, eat half a banana, dress for the cold weather, shoes on, out the door.

I am veg, lots of allergies so I eat lots of whole foods and cook mostly from scratch.

Okay, well egg replacers like Energ egg replacer are only for baking, not for egg dishes like souffles or something. And not for a recipe that is very egg heavy, like angel food cake or macaroons. Best used in a recipe that uses 2 eggs or less. Others have success with ground flax or chia mixed with water to form a gel…

This was my favourite homemade gluten-free bread before going completely grain-free: http://glutenfreesoyfreevegan.wordpress.com/2009/07/07/mark-engelberg%E2%80%99s-gluten-free-vegan-bread/ Since I am the only one in my family who is completely grain free and the boys are just as happy eating Udi's, I just make my own buns…

You're very brave. You have a lot of strength to post here. You can do this. You can.

I'm very uncoordinated, jumping rope is a good exercise, but I have to figure out how to get over the rope . . .

Doesn't sound too bad! Tell me if you need any recipes.

No way! Nothing helps my cramps like running!

whole grains, quinoa, buckwheat, beans, lentils, peas, veggies, fruits (especially berries), nuts and seeds I never have trouble getting enough fibre. I usually have 40-60 grams fibre per day.

I love this pancake recipe: Buckwheat Pancakes Written by Grain Free Living This makes a thick fluffy pancake that works well as a sliced bread substitute. Ingredients 1/2 cup buckwheat, freshly finely ground OR buckwheat flour 1 - 2 tblsp potato starch or arrowroot pinch sea salt 1/2 tsp bi-carb / baking soda 1/4 tsp…

Beans, lentils, quinoa.

Love my FitBit!

It's water weight. You can do it. Take a breath and drink lots of water. It will be okay.

Good first steps! You can do it!

Good for you! You can do it! Make lots of friends, and we will encourage you. Take one step at a time, just one day, one step, one bite at a time. Breathe. You are strong. You can do hard things.

Yay for feeling good! Start exploring your favourite foods that are naturally gluten-free - fruits, vegetables, potatoes, nuts, seeds, gluten free grains if you can tolerate them, quinoa, beans, lentils. Eat lots of your favourite fruits and veggies. There are plenty of substitutes for your favourites, and you will have…

I started to think about it when I read "Run Like a Mother". But I didn't have the physical fitness to do it yet then, was going through a lot of depression and fatigue. The following December when I started getting some exercise in on the wii, and started to get some energy back, I really started to work towards it.…

I have one guy who has twice harassed me while I was out on my pre-dawn run. The second time I had to call the police as he kept trailing me, yelling comments, etc. They talked to him at his home (I got his license plate) and told him he'd be charged with stalking if he did it again. Now I stick to the really busy streets…

Welcome to all the latest newbies! Stay strong, you can do it!

Love my FitBit! Great to know when I have an active day around how many calories I am burning. It's really impossible to estimate things like grocery shopping and running back and forth at the office some days without a FitBit or Bodybug or something. It's nice to know if I'm hungry that I have, in fact, burned enough…

The developer has been very responsive to suggestions and bug reports. Nice guy. I don't really mind no music integration either. I use Tempo Magic for my music, to push the speed of my favourite songs up to a higher BPM. Works in the background while iSmoothRun is going.
-
I don't have a HRM, but I have a FitBit, and my estimated calories burned on the FitBit is always very close to 10% of the sweat points.

Yes, I was worried right from the start that I would not be able to conceive. Never used any birth control, and we were not able to conceive. It has been 19 years, but it still makes me sad.
