I have been combining Wii Fit Plus and walking. I work with the Wii Fit every day and I walk at least 5-6 days a week and it is doing great for me. The boxing, dancing, free step and free run are the best calorie burners but you will burn calories on everything you do. It is neat to be able to play and lose weight at the…

On the other side...it depends on what kind of fiber you are talking about. All fiber is good but insoluable fiber can make you constipated if you don't drink enough water. If you are drinking 8 glasses a day then you should up your water intake a little bit to help "ease" things along.

Absolutely beautiful! You are doing an awesome job! Keep it up! :)
-
Great job girl! I know it must feel awesome to have surpassed your goal! You rock! I will update my ticker later to reflect this week's walk but will add approx. 12 more miles! Here I come 150 miles!! :)
-
I'm bumping this as well! I'd like to know if anyone else has tried this. I have hit a plateau and have changed things up a bit and adding green tea would not be difficult to do at all! Plus...I love it! :)

Walked my 3 miles yesterday and busted the 100 mile mark! WOOT! Now to begin the new challenge of 150 miles walked in 61 days (Oct. 22)! :) Bru...you are doing awesome, as usual! Keep it up girl! I'm off to change my ticker!! :)

Ok...so as of yesterday, which is day 60 of this challenge for me, I have walked 97 miles! Today's goal is to walk 3 miles for an even 100 miles in 61 days! :) I am going to challenge myself and walk 150 miles in 61 days for my next challenge! :) Thanks for starting this Bru!! I LOVE accountability! I'll log in later to…

I used regular salt! You don't need to buy the ice cream salt. If you do want to try it with ice cream salt, I would check WalMart and it might even be shelved near or under the ice cream makers. If not there, maybe the regular salt aisle. I would suggest using oven mitts or a towel while shaking this up because it does…

Just think of the money you will save on medical issues later on down the road from losing all the weight! I'm with the other poster who said: WTG!!

Woot! 18 miles walked this week for a grand total of 89.5! I do believe I am going to make the cutoff on the same day as you Bru. I started about a week later than you did but I am VERY impressed that you upped your goal to 200 and I KNOW you will make it! Once this challenge is complete I believe I will challenge myself…

Happens to me every week...I only count what the scales says on Sunday, as well. No worries...find a day and use that day as weigh n day...even if you weigh during the week, ignore what the scale says and just go with what it says on weigh in day...and PS...weigh nekkid! :)
-
A Tblsp. of Peanut Butter and an apple are a good way to add the cals. Make the PB all natural though! Protein shakes are good as well. You will need the extra protein for all the working out you are doing!

If you don't eat a snack between meals then up your carbs to the higher end during meals. That way you will stay consistent! :) Good luck!
-
One serving of carbs = 15g. The type of carbs you are eating makes a difference! If you ate a bunch of starchy carbs, i.e....bread, pasta, etc....it tends to "stick" around, whereas natural carbs, carbs you get from fruit, etc....is burned off easier. If you break your carbs up during the day to something manageable your…

Hmmm...the chocolate mousse or the mini chocolate chips??? Which shall I try first! Bru...do like I do and hide a few behind the fish (or whatever) my kiddo's never look there! :)
-
Is there chocolate cool whip?? If there is, that would be good too!
-
It really is versatile. There are cinnamon graham crackers too. I haven't tried that yet but think I might! Love them with the chocolate graham crackers as well! Sooooo goooood!

Welcome to both of you that joined today! Joining MFP was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Until I started recording EVERYTHING I ate I had no idea what I was consuming or how much! I am now dedicated to the ACTUAL serving size and have used healthier versions of all the things I love. The result? 14 lbs.…

I walked 19 miles this week!! So exciting! I only have 29 miles left to go. :) I've walked 71.6 miles!

Keeping it real! Love it!

Woot! I've lost 3.5 lbs. and am down to 231.5!!! Makes me feel better cuz last week I didn't lose a thing! Well...maybe a few inches. Good luck to everyone this week!!
-
Although my official weigh in is tomorrow, I weighed this morning and YAYYYYY!!! Start weight on 7-24 - 236.1 End weight on 8-7 = 231.5 Total loss = 4.6 lbs.!!!! Even if I don't win the postcard I am sooooo stoked!! :)

Oh and...Tess, I have 4 Toby Mac songs on my iPod :)
-
Kristin - not weird at all. I love to walk in silence as well but sometimes I REALLY like to have some fast paced music playing to try to step up the pace. I can assure you, if I am able to do the 5K in Feb., I will not be playing my music. I want to be able to hear the rescuers answering my call for help! :) HA!
-
Not sure I have ever heard of Ballroom Blitz! Loving the George Strait suggestions and Disco is fun too!
-
I'm curious as well!
