When I stepped on a scale and realized I weighed as much as I did when I was full-term pregnant.

Personally, I wouldn't enjoy drinking my meal and I don't like diets. I started this because I wanted to make permanent changes in my life with the way I eat, what I eat and exercising. I enjoy food so I started by adding more exercise to burn more calories so I could eat more. My allotted calorie intake is 1200, if I burn…

Workout during is a huge plus. I always have less pain when I am working out. Sometimes I think the pain is too great to even move but I force myself to do and never have regretted it yet.

This is amazing to see that so how many people have logged in for years. I'm proud that I have been logging in for 282 days and plan to be a MFP lifer. I just wanted to say you are all an inspiration and congratulations for being so committed. I will be there one day!

Yes, it is annoying. I am constantly being told by friends and family that counting calories is stupid or a waste of time or that I am obsessed with logging in all my calories. I'm not sure why people care since I am not bothering anyone nor am I pushing anyone to eat better and be more accountable for what they eat. To…

Amazing work, you look fantastic! Thank you for sharing, you are quite an inspiration! That is fabulous that you have MFP friends that have helped you a long the way. Logging in MFP is great and everyone is so supportive. Keep up the great work

Taking a quick look at your diary it Looks like you are not eating enough calories. Don't eat under the 1200 calories and try to exercise more even if you just walk for a half mile. On the day you had a great burn (exercise) you didn't eat your calories back. You need fuel especially on days you work-out. Also, do you…

Hope all went well. How are you feeling, 4 days post-surgery?

One meal for the family. I usually tried to make meals that everyone likes but sometimes it didn't work out that way. I would always have them try it and if they didn't like they would just make something else. My kids are older now so I'm definitely cooking different now that they are out of the house most of the year.…

Just flipping through a few days it looks like your sodium intake is too high. Processed foods have a lot of sodium so I try to stay clear of anything processed. If you can eat a larger breakfast with a lot of protein that may help, though I know a lot of people don't like eating breakfast but it works for me. Exercise is…

Just be honest and tell her she is too clingy and you do not want to stay in this relationship. End of discussion. Don't text, that is tacky. If she makes a scene, walk away but whatever you do, don't lead her on. Rip the band-aid off quickly.

Awesome, you look fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

I usually get my workout clothes from Target. I just use a running bra, running shorts and a tank. If I'm outside in the cold then leggings, running socks (from REI) and my running jacket are the most important. Cheap gloves and ear coverings. As for my running shoes I wear Merrill's - shoes & a running jacket are the only…

I have my surgery scheduled for March 12th, same incisions. I was told by my doctor that I can start walking immediately but no running, lifting, bending etc for 6 weeks. My sister had the same surgery and she started working out 2 weeks after her procedure (too soon) and then had a month + set back. I have struggled with…

I can only walk this month, since I'm recovering. My goal is 40 miles.

Way to go, keep up the good work!!

That would be a record for me. Good plan though move on from the bad day and start over. When i go over I don't try to go under the rest of the week I just stay within my limits and workout a bit more. I agree MFP is the best, it makes you aware of what you are putting in your mouth. Who would of thought a salad could be…

What an fantastic transformation and story. Congratulations! It always amazes me how much younger people look when they lose weight. I am also a MFP lifer. It has changed my life and I'm more accountable for what I put in my mouth. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!!

Yes, I eat my calorie back. Sometimes I can't eat them all back but I don't go hungry or stuff myself on a day I work out. If I didn't eat most of my calories back then I wouldn't have the energy to work out.
