I take a multi, D3, and Omega-3. :) Just had my Lipid panel and Vitiman D levels drawn. D levels were great (yay!) and HDLs were high (yay!).

Honestly... I would really rest it. If the doc says it's okay - swimming, water walking, water aerobics, cycling (generally), and pilates are all good options. But for now, rest it and get it checked out. You really don't want to further mess up a knee (or any joint for that matter). If you're going nuts and HAVE to…

Check out "Harvard Nutrition Source" - they have a great section on Sodium with tips! Here's the link if you want to cut and paste: http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/salt/ Cooking with fresh ingredients is really key! Avoiding fast foods, canned foods, and frozen prepared foods - and of course anything highly…

I admit... I really love Ling Ling Frozen Chicken Potstickers AND the worst of them all... Tortinos Combo Pizza Rolls! I very very rarely eat them! Seriously maybe 2-4Xs/year total! But everytime I see them in the store - I have to admit, my heart skips a beat. Talk about junk food! lol It's funny coming from me... I'm one…

The only jeans that fit me (that I've found so far) are Lucky Brand Jeans. If you get them at Marshall's, Ross, or Costco - they're totally affordable. Just bought a pair for around $30 at Ross. Don't pay full price at the Lucky Store - way too expensive there!

Here are those videos... his You Tube Channel is "andymcd23." Some of it's advanced - but you can pick and choose what you want. He has a lot of videos... but the ones I liked are: 1. Free Workout: http://youtu.be/hPSt-xY6sbw (this one is my "second" favorite) 2. Total Body Exercise Ideas: http://youtu.be/kck8Qu699tA (this…

Ditto the above response! I can't stress push ups enough - one of the best exercises for chest, arms, back and core. And if you need to modify them my going on your knees - no problem! Go for it! Better to do them correctly, with good form, and build strength over time. I would highly recommend adding core work outs, too.…

1. My husband is home. 2. I ordered a new camera. 3. I enjoyed a perfect cup of coffee. 4. The scale read 124 lbs. (Still maintaining my GW - been here just over 2 weeks, yay!!) 5. It rained... we need rain, here! 6. My dreams are coming true - making progress every single day... never been closer!

I got mine at an REI Used Gear Sale. If you live near an REI - see when the next one is. They have them quarterly or so. I paid literally $8.37 for it. It was a bit of a gamble - since it was returned used... but for $8 I took a chance. Works perfectly! There were probably 5+ HRM at the sale. This one just looked to be in…

Thanks! Totally helped! Here she is... Jockey Kayla Stra. I'm almost there - haha! We have the same build and are the same height. She is small but mighty.

Jockey Kayla Stra... we're the same height and build. She's small but mighty! :) I don't know how to post a pic of the internet, but here's a link: http://duphotographyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/img_7529-edit.jpg

I also have the Polar FT4! I found mine at a used gear sale at R.E.I.. They have a very generous return policy, and resell gear once quarter or so... anyway, I found it there. The person who returned it said it wasn't working... but I tried it and it works great! Been using it for 2 weeks, and I love it. Easy to navigate…

Totally agree... I had the same problem. I increased my caloric intake (ate back most of my exercise calories), and BAM!!! Dropped weight again nooo problem. I guess my metabolism got whacked out when I was under eating that much - my boody didn't want to let anything go. It was like, "Hell no, I need all the fat stores I…

I've tried it - and it was not for me... BUT I'm trying it again! :o) My friend swears by Bikram. He is a thoroughbred racehorse jockey, and Bikram is the primary way he stays strong in body and mind. He has incredible core strength, leg and arm strength and endurance. He is flexible and able to focus in a chaotic…

Also - Tuna mixed with a little bit of mayo (I like that olive oil mayo from kraft) and mustard is a fast easy spread. Love it on toast with the usual trimmings (tomato, lettuce, maybe onion). If you prefer - you can use canned chicken or canned salmon. OR - make hard boiled eggs the night before and store them in your…

I eat Brown Rice Cakes with Hummus - sometimes I'll add tomato slices and/or spinach, too. If I don't have rice cakes - good quality toast (something with whole grains, etc.) with Hummus. I LOVE hummus as an alternate to meats/spreads. Try it as a sandwich sometime... get your bread, 1-2 Tablespoons Hummus, add veggies…

We always did middle name and street... in which case I would be Nevada Willow. But if I use Pet & street, it would be Chelsea Willow.
