Granola, preferably with some fiber; Tuna (albacore only), Almonds and pistachios, Canned fruit (pineapple chunks mostly). Fridge: Fresh fruit and veggies, Greek yogurt (not the "fruit on the bottom" type) Almond milk Varies from time to time, but those are the ones I always have at some point throughout the week.

Anyone is welcome to add me to their friends. I have recently completed what I consider "step one" in this journey--actually losing the weight I wanted to! Took me two years, lots of running miles, a few lifestyle changes, and lots of supportive friends, many of them on this site, whom I've never met in person. I'm happy…

The entire enterprise is just an over-sensationalized production. Severely unhealthy approach to weight loss and horrible advice, and no, none of them care what the contestants think or feel. Crap like this will continue to be on the television as long as people will sit down and waste their time watching it.

Fantastic abs! (@ Sarah) Didn't post it fast enough!

I tend to have a problem with this when I'm angry. Not so much a big binge, but non-stop snacking for the evening to get my mind off of whatever it was that made me angry. Thankfully, I've learned not to let things get to me as easily, so I don't have those feelings as often. But every once in awhile it still happens. I…

To be honest, if I run at least three times a week, my knees feel fantastic. If I take too many consecutive days off, they tend to stiffen up a bit (right knee was rebuilt in 2003 after a soccer injury, left one is just old!!!). Other than that, the right shoes are crucial! And I do yoga once a week before my long runs to…

Your last one--very nice mix of elegant and cute! And I'm a sucker for Scottish lasses (I married one!).
-
Sounds great, let's go!
-
I would do whatever you said I would do! 'Cause I'm not dumb, you're stronger than I am!
-
Big blue eyes! And Norway rocks. Damn, bigcb beat me to it.

90 minutes to go on a 12-hour night watch. How's life in your part of the world?
-
Third one, top row--you look incredible! Very motivating.

The four I have were all for specific reasons, and all are easily covered by a t-shirt. If you want one, get it! But make it something that is meaningful to you and will remain meaningful to you.

Rule #1: Cardio!

I can skate, I just can't stop.
-
I'd smile. Probably twice. :)
-
And now I'm feeling thankful that I can run fast, because I'm betting you'd win the fight! :)
-
WHAT? I think you mis-typed your age.....way to go on the half marathon, that's terrific!
-
You make me smile because the red glasses are really cute!
-
Thanks! Last one in the first row for you.....because I dig the coveralls, and I'm impressed by what you're making! That's really cool!
-
You're on! Let's go!

Made fitness a habit instead of an attempt. 17 additional pounds gone, 3 more inches off the waist, and about 5% less body fat. Improved my race times at all distances. Got happier. :)

Challenge her to a hockey fight!
-
Like I want to know what secret is making you raise that eyebrow.....very mysterious.....
-
Hockey? Hell yes!
-
Gorgeous.
-
Makes me feel old--both of you above me!
-
That's a 10! I'm a sucker for a girl with race numbers marked on her.

First place to start......are you wearing the right shoes? Get your foot and form analyzed at your local running specialty store. The wrong type of running shoes can cause this pain you're experiencing; the right ones can eliminate and prevent it.

Pose-off pic in the green top--you're ripped! :)
