He commented that what you said was stupid, not that you are stupid. Of course, you might be stupid. After all, you put up with his bull****. Instead of sitting around worrying about if he's emotionally abusing you (and being a victim), spend your time packing up your stuff or his.

Judge away, I say! I had the sleeve done in August I'm down 100 pounds, off of all of my meds and ran 3.25 miles AFTER work today. I haven't been this healthy since I was 18. Now, I could have struggled another 20 years and yo-yo'd myself literally to death...the old fashioned way. No thank you  ! Everyone has…

Hey Shack! I have both :). I bought a HR watch for my training for the 5K I ran last month.........so I could set a pace I could sustain. It's good for the times you work out. My fitbit I attach to my brastrap (I don't think you have one of those but they have a belt thingy) all day and it records my general activity.…

ok then......I had the sleeve done August 15th. As of this am, I've lost 85pounds. Off diabetes and bp meds, running 3miles 4x a week, lost 4 pant sizes. My stomach holds 4-6 oz at a time, so I have 5-6 meals/snacks a day pretty much 3hours apart. I don't have as many restrictions as the bypass in terms of what they call…

Lap band isn't really less invasive. You will forever have a foreign body inside of yours which will eventually have to be revised, replaced, or removed during your lifetime. They need constant adjustment and attention, and many lap band patients eventually turn to a more permanent answer for weight loss. So, if you want…

QUOTE: QUOTE: If we accept our kids walking around with their pants off their butts, then let them eat as they wish. We will reap what we sow. Wut? What does how you wear your clothing have to do with how we let our children eat?! Pretty sure letting your pants hang off your butt dont cause diabetes or other diseases that…

oh and another thing>>> pee flap?? Hilarious! But don't kick me there.

If you really think that the government pays for anyone's diseases, you probably eat that babble that our current president is trying to feed you. Of course, that's another issue all together. It's all about accountability in this country- we have NONE. We're all so worried about the politically correct way to handle…

I find it really hard to believe that's legal or realistic. I've NEVER heard of a school (at any level) where a B was considered not passing. I'd find out if the entire college functions this way or not. If not, then I'd say speak to the registrar or apply for a grievance. I know that nursing is competitive, but so are a…

I buy those little 7ox cans of diet soda, and have about one every other day. I used to be hooked, and they didn't do much for my diet or hydration. Now I at least feel I can satisfy that craving with a "little" something.

Thank you all for great comments, they really help me keep things in perspective. It's great to have such knowlegdeable people on this site. You all rock!!

In August I was in a 22, heading for a 24 pant. Today I'm solid into a 16, but I do own one pair of size 14 pants  I was in a 3x top, and now I wear an XL. I've lost 74 pounds and hope to lose 30 more, although I can't even imagine that. It remains to be seen.

I was in a similar situation with a man (we weren't married at the time) and it really was the beginning of the end. I don't necessarily mean you should look at it that way, it's just the way it was for me. Aside from how he's acting (a selfish *kitten*) toward you, I suggest you get to the root of your feelings toward…

That's it. You're on a 60-day no fast food diet. For a moment, I thought I had stumbled onto the wrong website! :noway:

400?? Holy crap.......I'm going for it!!

I like the flu shot better than getting the flu. That being said, vaccines aren't so YOU don't get the flu. They are intended to protect the vulnerable folks in your community. Without them, epidemics happen and large groups of people die around the world, Look at it as an opportunity to do what's right....instead of…

Shack, I agree with CClark......trainers are great because they help you understand what you need specifically. Building muscle is fantastic, but core work is essential, and you can't always get there lifting weights. Using your own body for resistance and balance is fun and beneficial. Good luck, you rockstar!

I get sugar cravings with ANY carbs, even oatmeal. If I focus on protein, then carbs I do better. Concentrated sweets are a no-no. When you crave those, try a pickle spear or two instead. It works!!

Fatigue is a common challenge for those of us dieting. First, check with your doc about tests like thyroid, depression, etc. Like the other response about carbs, they are a killer. To lose weight, we have to dig into our reserves for energy, so make sure you're eating plenty of lean protein to keep you up with long lasting…

You know, life goes on.......you're talking about 2 days of your week, month, year. You fell off, just don't stay off. Excercise today, try to load up on protein today and stay away from carbs the next couple. So much of this journey is mental and when we make a mistake we're sometimes our own worst enemies and give up all…

The sleeve is a surgical procedure (done laproscopically) in which they remove up to 80% of your stomach. You're left with a banana shaped "sleeve" which only holds about 6-8 ounces. Unlike the band, it's permanent and without foreign objects in the body. Like gastric bypass, it's permanent without some of the yucky side…
