i love the pomegranate flavor. use a tiny bit in almost every bottle of water, it helps encourage me to drink more during the day!

i have a really crazy schedule. i work 3pm until 1230am, so all my meals are off scaled to a degree. i usually dont start eating in the morning until around 10am or so... and my last "snack" is around 2am when i get home from work. i generally log that for the next day under "breakfast." i try not to eat right before bed,…

i fell for the whole Medifast gimmick, lost 50lbs, gained back 30. its not safe doing those low calorie diets and they arent sustainable. what im doing now, is sustainable, i can eat like this and live like this for the rest of my life. that is the key! thanks for the great motivational posting!

i think 5lbs in two weeks is great. dont get discouraged. think of how great you're feeling and screw the scale. :) i learned that from a very wise person. just keep making positive choices and you will get there!

the same thing has happened here, i've only lost 15lbs but i can see huge differences in myself! others, not so much, but thats okay! i know i am getting healthier and will be rocking my swimsuit this summer. :) just keep pushing ahead and losing pounds and inches. eventually they will notice and say something. :)

i usually get picky with restaurants. i'll order my favorite salad, tell them no croutons, no cheese, have the chicken cooked in no oil/butter and serve dressing on the side. i can honestly say, they've gotten it right 9 times out of 10. good luck! and like others have said... a little splurge is okay, just dont go for the…

i term myself spiritual rather than religious. in my mind there is "something" out there... something much bigger than us, bigger than we or any one book can describe. i also feel closer to this "something" when i am out running, i see a baby take his/her first step, and i hold the hand of someone who is dying... just my…

i would have to say exercise is the most difficult but food is a close second. i am an emotional eater... food is always the center of a celebration and its also always been my comfort when im down. so changing that and becoming more active have been challenging.

i dont make it a point to check my friends list to see if i've been deleted, and wouldnt delete someone for inactivity simply because if and when they come back they will need the support. people go through phases, periods of eating out of control, periods when they are "gung-ho" about eating right. they need our support…

I've been tossing between that and a bodybugg. the benefit of a fitbit would be that it works with MFP and its free to use this site, whereas you have to pay $10 a month after the trial for the bodybugg. i think im leaning toward the fitbit.

i feel the same way. i like to see results. 5 years ago i did medifast and took off over 40lbs in less than 3 months. it was amazing to see the change happen so fast. but i realized something, i cant live off of medifast for the rest of my life. its a good way to talk lbs off fast, but without a life change (like we are…
