Doesn't matter to me at all. I can learn from all age groups, and impart what little wisdom and experience I have to them. That said, I have shared personal non-weight/diet-related things with some MFP friends (on MPF and off), and those are usually about my age.

I am very impressed when I see overweight people jogging. Good for them! Inspires me even more!

I am 47 and loving it!

I have never wanted one. Doesn't mean anything, just means that I would not find them attractive or appealing on me. I always joked that if I ever got a tattoo, it would be to tattoo Brad Pitt's face over mine, haha. :)

If they would send them directly to my cell phone, it would save me the bother of logging in...

Love them!

Is Kougra on your friends list? If not, look her up and friend her. She could probably weigh in on this...

I second this.

With every passing day, you get older, too. Your metabolism slows. Don't know what to tell you except keep doing what you're doing. The alternative is worse. I get frustrated, too, but I keep plugging away. I am getting healthier! More stamina, more endurance, better breathing, better taste, etc. There's a lot more too it…

I used to get hit on a lot by gay men when I was a bit younger. I am not gay, but it didn't bother me, as they were generally well behaved. Back then, I was slim, fit and moderately handsome. Now, at my age, I'm almost just hoping SOMEONE will hit on me! It's like getting carded for alcohol - those days are long past. :)

I bought one and I'm sorry to say that I could not get into it. That balance board is too small...

My doctor told me the opposite - there is not enough active probiotic culture in the yogurt to do much of anything (one pill I take daily has 15 billion organisms.) Plus the additives and sweeteners in yogurt can cause some IBS or other gastric flareups. But if it works for you, then by all means keep on! Just stating what…

Peppermint, Ginger and don't forget Chamomile. It's an anti-inflammatory agent. There is a supplement called "Intesol" that is a blend of all these that has really helped me. It works as an anti-spasmodic. Also, Google "Metagenics UltraClear Sustain." That also works very well. It was designed for dysbiosis, primarily…

I have a forum for this on MPF (Living with IBS), along with Kougra's forum on Crohn's Disease. I suffer from IBS very very seriously. Getting better though.

Let's improve our spelling on MFP! It's "civility." And "lose," not "loose."

I celebrate your success and understand your post completely! I, too, just ducked under 200 pounds for the first time in 17 years! I'm hovering at about 195 now for the past two weeks and love it every time I step on the scale! I started this journey at 228 (before I discovered MFP) and am determined to reach my goal of…

Nope. Found other ways to reward myself. Pressing on ... but have a nice Valentine's Day!
