There are great apps for smartphones that also show different workouts you can do for each area (ex biceps, chest etc) They show them being performed with machines, body weight and with free weights. I recommend working upper body one day and lower body the next day until you are used to lifting. Then you can start working…

I have had alot of success with WW. My friends also considered it to be accountability for them when they had to weigh in weekly. I think it just depends on how well you can manage without a face to face interaction for motivation.
